The energy surge was mostly just Law recalling things he SHOULD have known when he separated the water from the plant. It only makes sense for him to get those things if he does that early.

We'll get a Deus ex Machina level surge of energy during the major update. I'm looking forward to it, since a lot more detail will be put into the writing for a while after that. Kind of like you and the 'demon attacks' only without the demon. Or the attack.

Who said we'd die if we used Aura? The con of Aura is that you lose one of your powers for 1-3 game weeks if you enter a fight for more than 10 turns. Since you shouldn't ever be in a fight that long you shouldn't have a problem with that. Each con for each energy turns out to be negligible at best.

The evolved skills can all pretty much remove a mountain without so much as a second glance.

Be inside the barrier when it goes up.

The barrier could stop Criptfiend for all of .0325 seconds, and Aklyon's Ninja Cats would just find a way to break through the barrier. As for Evergod he'd probably just randomly flail his arms through it.
Also there will be no dwarfs, nor elves in this forum game.

As for boosts to skills already at stage 5? None.
