Boss is anchored to the tendril, we have to find a way to amputate it.

I wish I had a method to make picture depictions of what's happening, then we could avoid a lot of confusion in the games I made.
Something is only considered anchored if an integral part of its structure is latched to something else. In this case the tendril is latching itself to his torso.

You hear an explosion, and rubble begins flying everywhere, the orbital defense is keeping us safe for the most part. You telepathically force everyone to stay inside while you focus on Boss.
You activate Envelop, then focus it entirely on your arms, shell activates as well, which helps immensely. You manage to pry open enough space to teleport Boss to safety, as you watch the tendril anchor itself to the ground like some sort of twisted root. Boss isn't doing good, there's a large bleeding mark where the tendril was, and the blood won't slow down.
Boss gives us an envelope, then passes out. You take him inside, then look at the ominous figure contrasting heavily with the clear sky. Everyone is doing their best to get Boss stable. You join in, but what could you possibly do for him?

The tabs aren't really important, so I'll just recover them at the end of this. What patchwork method do you want to use to save Boss?

Staunch the wounds with force blast. Without, you know, actually blasting him.

Tear off large chunks of burlap from the old outfit, then use the heavy-duty cloth along with lots of whatever else is soft and absorbent on hand to staunch the bleeding. use telekenesis to keep him still and elevate any wounded extremeties as much as possible.

This shit just got real.

If possible, reinforce the fabric with envelop. If we can't extend that to others, do it the normal way.

We can give our energy to cloth, it's just not a very good idea. Unless you want to hug your enemies, in which case it's a matter of who dies first.

Spoiler: Major Update (click to show/hide)

You grab as much cloth in the store as you can to absorb the blood. It's not working! You think, then decide you might be able to hold the blood in with a steadied Force Blast. You form a hand, trying to dilute your energy as much as possible from it to burn the large gashes shut. Boss grunts in pain, then calms down.
He stabilizes for a bit, then starts going cold. You try to save him, but it's too late. There must have been poison in those tendrils...
You go outside to face the beast in a fit of rage. You begin shrouding yourself with Envelop. A sharp pain begins to take over as you force Envelop to go over more than just your arms. You ignore the pain and continue shrouding your body. Crackles of electricity fly off of your enveloped arms and legs. Your torso and head soon become fully enveloped as well. You force Shell to not activate, you want to remain unfiltered.
You gather as much energy as you can to launch a single almighty Force Tap, but Envelop explodes off your body. You fall to your back, ears ringing, body flaking away. You look into the flaking body, and discover that you have become completely hollow. You are a shell with a conscious mind. Samantha, and the movers rush out to help you. Your body is fading.
All is black.

We are in fact dead, but that doesn't mean this is the end of Law. Post some things, and I'll get to work on the next part of the major update soon.
