You decide to try and kill the thing Criptfiend is fighting.
You teleport into town, man things got weird fast in this place! You go to the apartment where the combat is going on. The thing has stopped sweating skeleton carp, and has instead started bleeding profusely.
Criptfiend is passed out, it seems he got tired of fighting this thing after it couldn't lift its arms anymore. You decide to spare the thing some more agony at the hands of Criptfiend, and mercy kill it. Not so much mercy kill, as a sudden explosion of hyper compressed blunt force suddenly appearing in its brain and heart simultaneously.

The sky doesn't clear up immediately, but once it does the town just goes right back to normal. No one that was in town seems to remember what happened today. That's probably for the best.
