I still vote for Lightning, as really, fire is pretty Lethal only, mist seems kinda useless in a fight, and we do NOT want to be skill locked during a boss fight.

Major enemies aren't bosses, major enemies are... I shouldn't be talking about this outside a spoiler.

Enemies are classified as Human and Major.
Human enemies are people like soldiers, thieves, assassins, etc.
Major enemies are other human-like beings that have the personality of justice like us. The main difference is that they weren't seen as failed experiments. A major enemy occurs when one of these beings malfunctions, and goes berserk. We'll be fighting a lot of these guys eventually.
These guys are going to be one of the main ways to grind alignment.

Justice: If you go the justice route you can save the host without harming it which gives you more Justice alignment.

Neutral: You can harm the host, but can't kill him/her.

Anti-Justice: You can just devour the major enemy outright.

We're going to have plenty of skills to use once we get into fights with more than one major enemy. It's going to pretty negligible by the time that we start fights long enough to eat away at us.

Every disadvantage to each type of energy is pretty negligible, I just thought I'd let you know them before I randomly throw them out at you.

Actually I planned on using Random.org to determine if a power gets locked, then I'd just roll for 1-<number of powers> if the initial roll was below 10.

I'd just like to point out that with aura,  we have phenominal cosmic powers.
with lightning,  we can cross the room and force stab someone before their heart beats. Also,  few thngs are as impressive as calling a giant bolt of lightning from the heavens to smite the other guy.

Aura. After seeing the powers, I wanted to move to lightning, but meh...

Each of these energy types ties in with a specific skill you'll see in the major update, each(potentially) as amazing as the last.

Also, I've been wanting to do this for a while. Now is probably the best chance. This isn't a joke update, like pandarsenic, and Evergod did. This is a legitimate update.

You go out to gather more rocks for practicing energy manipulation. You grab 3 or 4 rocks of noticeable size, then turn around to go back insi-Is that an Asian in swimming trunks with no shirt on staring at you?

You: "Uh... May I... help you...?"

The Asian just stares back at you. Blankly. You try to read his mind, but it's just as chaotic as the mind of the penguin armada...
He puts one hand behind his head, and the other on his hip. Then does... the pelvic thrust?

Mysterious Asian: "You like what'cha see?"
You: "What is this, I don't know what you'r-"
Mysterious Asian: "Your move."

He begins break dancing, then stands up and spins a few times. He throws his arms in the air and says...

Mysterious Asian: "Shhh..."
You: "Who are you?!"

He squints one eye to nearly being closed, bulges the other eye out at you, then points dramatically and says...

Criptfiend: "My name is Criptfiend, that's all you need to know, my worthy adversary!"

Criptfiend begins moonwalking away, constantly pointing/bulge-squinting at you. You think you hear techno music, but you aren't sure. A man walks up and apologizes for Criptfiend's actions.

Guy: "Sorry, that's my roommate, Criptfiend. He's kind of..."
You: "Insane?"
Guy: "I was going to say weird, but yeah, that works to."
You: "Why is he... who are you?"
Aklyon: "My name's Aklyon, I've kind of grown used to talking to people about him, so I forget to introduce myself sometimes."

You finish your talk with Aklyon, then decide you want to be inside, where it's safe. You reach into your pocket to grab your key, and feel a piece of paper. It has Criptfiend's phone number, and address on it. The key is also in the door?! You use Pulse Sensor, and detect Criptfiend, you try to read his mind again, but it seems like it's gotten exponentially more chaotic in the few minutes it's been since you first tried it. You aren't sure how to respond as you go inside, and begin turning the stones into spheres...

We can make out what people within 100 meters of us are thinking.
We can handle the constant stream of thoughts.
We can select whose mind we read.

Telepathy - stage 2
You can communicate to people with your mind. You can easily communicate with those you know.

Teleport - stage 5
We can easily use this as a form of long range movement.
We can easily teleport things over three times our size and weight.

Quick Step
An explosive form of teleportation you can use to quickly jump short distances. Not easily controlled, more convenient for fights.

Pulse Sensor - stage 3
You can send out a pulse in a 100 meter sphere to sense your surroundings.
You can now distinguish what is human, and what is not.
You now passively organize all the information this power sends to you.

After reaching 100 you can evolve the skills, like in UNDERGROUND!! this essentially resets the skills entirely, but if you max out an evolved skill then Random.org will never be used in determining the outcome of an action that uses that skill ever again.
