Heh, I'll bet any of you money that my DH character has a higher WS than at least one marine.

You get the big guns later on once you've proven yourself in a support capacity. They don't just slap the power armor on, hand you a rocket launcher and say "GET 'EM!".

In a pen and paper roleplaying game? Yes... you do. You don't have to use THAT sheet but you do need somewhere to write down your character's particulars. Have you read the rules? They're rather extensive.

Why wouldn't you need one? Unless I have seriously misunderstood something, he is advertising for a pen and paper roleplaying game played on maptool. This game is Deathwatch, which has a 400 page rulebook. The full character sheet from the book is like 5 pages, though mostly due to the artsy design and the solo mode/group mode rules sheet.
