Oh there will be a few bug fixes and the aimed attacks thing will be huge on fortress mode combat.

I dunno when, but it will most likely focus on adventure mode. Your fortress won't be that different.

Actually during reclaiming of a fortress many items get stuck and you cant move them from the previous fortress. This forces you to build around them. Aparently according to the bug tracker this is fixed and the bug will not be in 3.17. Therefor yes, it will affect fortress mode.

According to last devpost, he's halfway through cleaning up bugs and such introduced with all the new features. Which only makes me anticipate the bugs that'll inevitably skitter through the cracks even MORE eagerly.

Apparently not, since now day and night are tracked on the travel map specifically and you get tired during travel, at least according to the devlogs.  Also apparently bad things come out at night and if you're not somewhere safe you get eviscerated or something.  Sounds a little like Minecraft actually.

Really looking forward to the adventure mode fixes. I've just been noodling around in .12 and leaving dwarf mode alone while waiting for it. >_>

As long as it doesn't have eight blocky legs, glowing red eyes and jumps at you, I'm happy.
