To make up for a no-release August, Toady's working overtime! We've had 2 releases, and it's only 4 days into the month! O.o

Damn good. Just as I start a new one in .15, another comes out, and improves it slightly. I shall enjoy my skull/bone/shell only refuse pile.

Could you consider making masons by default have architecture turned on? I always forget it and end up with thousands of unbuilt bridges.

Hey Toady, I don't know if you were aware of the bug report for the lag issue that popped up, but it's here: http://www.bay12games.com/dwarves/mantisbt/view.php?id=3365 and needs to be added to the changelog.

I already posted in there, so maybe one of the moderators over there will catch it.

I would but I'm on linux; it's not a huge problem just an annoyance I think should be ironed out

It's what I would do, that's for sure. Sucks to have it not working, turgid.

Anywho, wonderful update, I love the blood tracking fix and hope for a similar refinement for fluids, since they have that infinite blood creation ability.  Thanks Toady, care to tell us what to expect next?  :D

Although I'm sure the tools people are annoyed at trying to hit a moving target (.14 -> .15 -> .16 in such a short span of time) these look like some nice changes again, thanks :)

Were there some cleaning related changes? After moving to .16 I made my dwarves haul items from dead goblins and once they did it, they all ran to clean themselves in the pond. Have never seen them do that before.

got a plus of about 1/4th of my population in about 2 years

Linux version just crashed two times in row on year 180 in worldgen.
Come on it doesn't even make sense.
...
And now it just freezed, again on year 180. And i've just genned two worlds in .14 and .15 with the same worldgen.txt.

And now it works. Wtf.
