I'd like the third waitlist spot. I'll take pink. Yeah, I'm planning on killing your eyes.

My mages and traders explore in all available directions, split into an appropriate number of parties.
My farmers and herbalists look for edible mushrooms and lichens they might be able to work with.
My miners locate a promising location not too far from the shore and dig in.
My craftsmen and masons search the surroundings for any useful resources. Edible fish are high on the list of desirable finds.

And someone needs to make sure the lake water is drinkable, too!
[97] You look around and find yourself a small tunnel going under the island, although it doesn't contain a way off the island it does seem to contain a large deposit of food.

[4] You look around for some eadible mushrooms, you find a strange looking mushroom and decide to prod it. It releases poisonous spores which kill your herbalists on the spot!

[26] Your miners dig down not too far from the shore, they don't find anything.

[67] Your craftsmen and masons find some ore deposits.

The masons will create houses, half of the miners will mine for stone, The other will go exploring by group of 5, looking for potential sources of food.

[61] Half of your miners begin digging, they get two tiles done.

[94] Your masons build two houses in the newly dug out space.

[5] Your miners go exploring, sadly they fall down a pit and are killed.

Shouldn't it be 75 total?

Anyway, miners and masons will continue digging and building until everuong got housing. Then the miners will look for ore while the masosn start building a wall around my settlements.

10 crafters will craft ropes for climbing and exploring without falling in pits, the traders will try to go and gather food while the remaining craftsmen will go exploring.

I'd like to join as well if possible, with the color of Orange. 10 woodcutters, 10 farmers, 10 herbalists.

My masons and half my miners dig/construct shelter on the west shore.
My other miners mine for ore.
My traders and mages scour the island for any renewable source of food or water.
My farmers keep looking for anything edible and growable, and this time, when someone goes to poke something, everyone else should stand the hell back.
My craftsmen try and fish.

I appear to be completely fucked here. No food, no water, no wood to build boats...

Sorry, due to time restrictions I'll only be having two players for now, possibly three when I'm more comfortable with this system.

[45] You dig and build as fast as you can, but your miners are digging twice as fast as you builders can build.

You don't have any materials for crafting rope.

[66] Your traders manage to find some tasty looking mushrooms, you get 50 food.

[8] Your craftsmen try to explore but can't find a way around the pit.

You get three villagers from your houses, they can be turned into any type of unit you wish.

[29] You build a house on the west shore.

[82] You get 82 units of the ore

[61] Although you can't find any sources of water, you find some soil perfect for growing crops.

[90] Your farmers find a large batch of seeds, these are perfect for growing crops.

[36] You catch a few fish.

Are you applying any sort of modifiers to these rolls, or does sending one random person to do a job work just as well as sending twenty specialists?
Also, I seem to have had 100 water appear out of nowhere

My farmers grow crops.
My traders keep looking for water.
Ten miners and my masons build more housing.
Twenty miners mine more ore
The rest of my miners check out that pit and see if there's any chance of tunneling under this lake.
My mages and five of my crafters try to rig up some sort of water purification system
My other ten crafters try to work out some sort of forge

Half of my miner keep digging for room, half of them for ore.
The masons continue building housing until there is enough room for everybody.
The traders keep looking for food.
The 3 villagers become farmers and start tilling plot to grow mushroom on.
HAlf of the craftsmen create agriculturalt ools (Plough, schythes, that kind of stuff) while the other half go exploring in the other direction, looking for anything of interest (Ore, food water...)

Will do turn in a bit, as for Vanigo's question; most jobs require a certain amount of people (not telling the exact amount) and more people gets more work done.

Sheb, tools cover everythinig, you don't need specific ones.

Can't I get added production from specialized tools Well, have them make some climbing gear and weapons then, enough to equip 10 peoples.
