This is going to be a Tbs based in avernum before the games. THe story is that you and a group of people with you have decided to go against the empire. That did not end well for you. You were magically teleported into a collection of caverns under the earth that was named Avernum. You landed in different areas with around 100 other people. This was one last shot at life. You better make it count.
(Shamelessly copyed from EagleV's bunker TBS >_>)
Every group starts with the following:
-3 Turns of clean water. (300,people use 1/day each)
-3 Turns of food.(300, people use 1/day each)
-100 Basic tools
-100 people: at least 40 miners, 10 Mages, 10 crafters, 10 traders/diplomats. Rest (30) can be chosen freely.
-There are Mages, craftsmen, miners, masons, traders, woodcuters, farmers and herbalists. I may add more when more jobs are needed.
You need:
-A name
-A color to represent your city and people.
Too bad for you, your people all come from the surface and thus only know Nothing. You will have to explore. I will add cities and their surroundings in ASCII when people sign up.
Every turn takes 1 day.
You can:
-Dig. Rolls d100, can have good or nasty side-effects. Increases your cave or such with 1 square/10 miners. (That is, one square on the plan of your bunker, not on the city map.
-Explore. Rolls d100, has good, neutral or bad effects, mostly good. Walking unexplored (black) squares costs 1 day, and explores that tile.
-Walk. Rolls d100, can have side-effects. Costs 1 day/5 explored map tiles.
-Create rooms. Empty caverns are no good for a bunker, you have to set your crafters to work. A crafter can form a single, dug-out tile to a room of your choice in 1 day, using 5 scrap.
-Craft. Ask me to make an item and I'll tell you how much manpower and material it costs. Can have side-effects, efficiency determined by d100.
-Salvage. Break down something you made, or something you have, for scrap.
-Use your imagination. Just ask me, and I will tell you costs, with help of my thrusty Urist McD100.
Your goal: survive. If that goes well, escape. Even overthrow the empire in a fit of different time lines.
Concerning new players: I will probably add you as the current players explore. I might even make another topic for the new players to play as heros.
