Hey there!
After 6 years with my last fortress, of no goblin attacks, and "friendly" caravans remaining friendly even after butchering 2 expeditions. I decided to gen a world in 3.12 and run it in 3.14.
I got it working no problem, with a thriving Gob fortress not far away.
To make things even more 'fun' i decided to embark in a 'terrifying' zone. Things seemed calm, only a few undead deers. Didn't think much of them. UNTIL THEY went for my animals D:. The bastards slaughtered all my chickens and 1 of my dogs before I even noticed.
Then my trader goes into a fist fight with the agressor. Thing is, he's not too good at that. The deer finally wounds him as to cause him to flee. But, they go in this epic running match across the whole map. I finally decide to get my military dwarf 'online' and send him to butcher the deers with his axe.
As he's heading to the wagon, I get the 'can't get item interrupted by 'undead deer''. That's fine, so he goes a kills them with his bare hands. Now that our axedwarf cleared the area with his fists, I have my Trader crawling back home in bad shape.
I immediately told my military dwarf to go cut down a few trees to try and get a bed/table for a provisionary hospital.
Now... Where the axe?
Nowhere!!? I can't find it, although the dwarf said he wasn't able to reach it in the first place, it's now nowhere to be seen. I can see in my stocks that i own 1 axe and 2 picks. I was able to find both picks on the miner dwarfs, but as for the axe. I went through the inventory of each of the 7 dwarfs multiple times with no avail.
Where's my axe!?
