We have graves now! How optomistic!

(I've been manipulating raws, do I need to gen a new world to make the changes happen, or something else? Trying to make Kobolds playable again, I messed things up from before...)

Ok, I'm betting Crazy dies first, as that's how my luck goes, it'll be depressing.

You do need to gen a new world. Also I have never run into any Kobolds in my worlds yet, wait no I did once, while elves traders where there, elves killed it. I killed the Elves, they did not bring elephants!

Played my 1st dwarvern adventurer, put all ppoints into mace, burned things, threw a corpse at a guy, killing someone, then got overwhelmed.

The leader kept passing out, then waking up, announcing himself, then passing out again...

EDIT: went to a different town, most were dead. I killed one, and an animal trainer announces they've killed a dwarf or something. I fire a bolt through them and voila...

By voila, I mean that I miis, and an unseen archer puts a bolt through my neck.

So I keep making dwarvern adventurers and sending them to one elven village. I all yellowed an administrator, and smashed one of his teeth out.

I think I can finish him this time!

Sorry for wall of text, gots to do something while we wait.

FINAL EDIT: I made kobolds recruitable in adventure mode. I think.It was easy too Konsidering.
I edited in some of the lighter armours/shields to make things bearable.Oh, and crossbows, but only because they are cool. I may have gone too far...

I went to a Kobold Kave and found most were fine, except a kobold bow...kobold? who was all yellows/reds except his legs which  were gone. Wouldn't let me recruit him though.I considered putting him out of his mercy, but... there were more Kobolds around, so I thought not.

I also 'Play Now'd and ran into a cave, no stats no armour, nothing. as soon as I step in:

"The trogoldite slams into you"
"You are knocked over!"
"The Troglodyte slams its fist into your skull!"

YOU ARE DECEASED!

Yeah that happened with the cavern civs I modded for adventure mode, start with no clothes, no skills, and a spear. Suck too, I wanted to make a badass batman who took down every surface civ in the world, eventuilly.

Just edit things!

I know how to get Kobolds recruitable. Wish i'd known when I rolled this adventurer.
I've been a kobold crossbowman!

I guess that wouldn't make me the ethnic minority though...

So was I.

Just go into the df  file (whichever you downloaded) and go into objects->RAWS-> Entity_default.

Then put [INDIV_CONTROLLABLE] just above the Kobold (Like it is with the humans/dwarves/elves)
and also put [ADVENTURE_TIER:4] in the kobold one, in the same place it is for humans. You can edit their equipables.

Then, to make them recruitable,  go onto creature_standard (also in the Raws) and delete [UTTERANCES] for the Kobold entry and put [INTELLIGENT].

It'll take a few tries though.

Cool, I think I would like your take on a fortmode LP. May the fans be dwarfed? If so I politely request a Weaponsmith/hammer or axedwarf(the only true dwarven weapons)

If you do decide this, and decide to dwarf us, then I would quite like to be a weapon/armour smith, as I quite enjoy smithing in RL.
