yeah unfortunately anything bought is not tradeable. I'm not sure do they actually drop as a normal item?
They are craftable, so one would assume they can drop.

There is no specific blueprint for them, though. With the only recipe that works for it (Scrap + Soldier Token + Primary Token), you have a 1/3 change of getting a Rocket Jumper. And, assuming you did not trade for any of the items, that requires a minimum of 8 weapons (2 for Scrap, 3 for each Token).

I want to punch a Valve developer right now.

Not hard, just enough to put my point across.

I now have these extra polycount weapons (and vita-saws):
Vita-Saw (Two of them)
Degreaser
The Holy Mackerel
L'Etranger

And I am looking for the following:
Mad Milk
Black Box
Powerjack
Sydney Sleeper
Darwin's Danger Shield

I have various non-polycount weapons if you are more interested in one of those instead (such as a scotsman's skullcutter). (My sig has my inventory - page 1 is normal trade stuff (unless marked non-tradeable), 2 is vintage stuff for trade (I consider them fairly valuable), page 4 is off-limits, page 3 is almost off limits)

Any Kritzkriegs?

Also, I'd be passingly interested in your Degreaser. Check my page for things of interest.

I've got the Darwin's Danger Shield, are you willing to trade that for the Skullcutter and KGB?

I just had a dupe degreaser drop, so I'm willing to trade with you. I have a full collection of vintage weapons, but I could still have them for future trading or some non-vintage weapons/metal for crafting.

Edit: I'm probably looking for about a scrap.

(I'm a bit more specific about what I want, I suppose)

I'll accept 1 reclaimed (tier 2) metal for polycount weapons as an alternative to trading other weapons, which is slightly less than the cost to craft polycount weapons (they require 1 specific additional weapon each, such as jarate, the backburner, etc).

Pandarsenic: I don't have any (extra) kritzkriegs at the moment. I don't see anything in your inventory I'd want for the degreaser, either, unfortunately. (Reclaimed metal? Polycount weapons that I don't have? Rocket jumper (I think they just nerfed it, though)?)

Metalax: I'm iffy on trading away the skullcutter, as I haven't decided whether to attempt to make the Horseless Headless Horsemann's Headtaker myself - it IS almost identical to the eyelander except for appearance, and requires 2 refined metal plus the haunted metal, but the hats, of which you can only make one, require 4 refined and the haunted metal instead. (And you can only ever get one haunted metal) Otherwise, I would have said yes.

OperatorPants: Sorry, already have all of those and don't want or need any more vintage stuff. Do you have or can you make reclaimed metal? (of course you could trade with Strange Guy instead :P)

(I think I crafted 4 or 5 of my polycount weapons. Only a couple duplicates are ones that I crafted.)

I got an offer for my Vintage Ritzy Rick's Hair Fixative for a regular Bloke's Bucket Hat, but the guy trading it was a dick. He originally offered his Bucket for my Hatless with only a few regular weapons. Then once I was in-game (which took a couple minutes to load), we went to trade, I showed him my weapons for trade, and he then canceled the trade and said "wait". When I asked why I had to wait, he just said "wait" again. Then he started the trade again. He suddenly changed his offer to my Vintage Hair Fixative and 7 other items for his regular Bucket Hat. When I asked why the change, he just kept repeating that he was accepting 7 items plus the Hatless Hat. After I put the Hatless up, he said something along the lines of "put 7 items up or i cancel." I put the items I had up before back up and asked again why he had changed the offer. He then said "4 more or i cancel."

He then started to count down from 10, trying to force me to do the trade he had changed the offer to in his artificial time limit. I said that I wasn't doing that, canceled the trade myself, and removed the bastard from my "friends" list.

Had he not done the countdown thing (and I don't know, maybe explained why he wanted more weapons), I would have just put him down as being uncomfortable with the English language. But once he did that it was obvious that he was just trying to screw me over without giving me time to think.

That's my first bad TF2 trading experience. Everyone else who I have gotten offers from or offered stuff to has been extremely pleasant.

Yeah sounds like you were unlucky to run into someone acting like that. Everyone I've traded with have been polite and not mucked around.

and updated trade list.

Crates have no inherent value. Keys are the only part of the Crate Unlocked With A Key that's worth anything. Why should anyone trade you a scrap or 2 weapons for a worthless item?

You can say they have no inherent value, but just because you don't want them doesn't mean they're worthless.  The fact that people are Willing to buy them for things disproves your assertion, objectively.   Economics.

In lighter news, I have a Vintage Bill's Hat I'd like to trade for a handful of hats
