Already traded it- paint is pretty popular it seems, suggesting I should have asked for more than a battalions back-up, though never-mind it seems a fairish trade from the store prices.

I've now got a couple of crates, both series 1, that I'm willing to trade both of for a polycount weapon (GRU, rocket jumper and the powerjack preferred) or for a scrap each. If I get more I might go 4 for a polycount I lack or reclaimed metal, 3 for one I have and still a scrap each.

You can probably earn big money if you trade for crates and then sell a bunch of them. You'll slowly amass vintage weapons that people give you. There's no cost, either, since you're just buying and selling scrap metal over and over.

It's a long term investment. Eventually, vintage weapons will be worth more than a regular weapon. A scrap metal at least, maybe a reclaimed for the rarer ones (crit-a-cola, southern hospitality, ect.)

See, now, that's what I've been looking for (that or a batter's helm so I can make a bonk helm myself), but all I have to trade for it are crates (and some vintage weapons, but I think crates are generally considered more valuable).
