Don't. Everyone ends up with a non-tradable / craftable item that isn't vintage. Since most of the players on DFC are older players with a large vintage collection, it will likely piss everyone off. Imagine how irritating it would be to have that one sandvich that sits there completely useless?

Maybe wait till if Valve makes the items gotten from gifts usable.

You shouldn't consider polycount weapons to be of the same value as hats... they're common stuff. Just wait a bit. Rare would be a vintage crit-a-cola.

Polypack weapons being good because it doesn't matter that they're not vintage and a lot of people want them. And there's still a chance people will get weapons they don't have.
