New reactions for my metals. After digging around in the raws and on the wiki, my entire raw file was screwed up. These should work a little better. fivex hit the nail on the head with the problem, and deserves a cookie.

No. For bars and thread and some other things you have to
make their value much higher then you would think.
Look at the vanilla smelter raws, specifically the alloying things that use bars and the adamantine wafers reaction.

Dwarf Fortress has become the only thing able to hold my attention for a solid two hours.

Also, first post on a new page! Woo!

Also also, AAAARG. New release delayed until end of November. Guess this means I can get back to modding, though. Still looking for someone to do some creature modding!

Hey! Good job, I'm glad to see more people modding serious stuff :).

I was disappointed by the delay too, because I wanted to continue modding for the new release (more interest in doing so). However new stuff and tweaks is always good, so it's better to wait a few weeks more and get more IMHO :).

Oh, yes. From the latest update on the main page, it seems we won't have packs of trogs kicking around our cheesemakers at the bottom of a cavern for two years at a time now! Half of me thinks 'yay!', half thinks 'craaaap.'

Hey!  Fun mod, I'm greatly enjoying it. :)

Minor bug: You've named the ore of strandsilver and the metal it gives you the same thing: [INORGANIC:STANDSILVER].  So the errorlog complains about it and leads to many messages of "you have struck rock!", which ends up being unusable.  Renaming the metal or rock to strandsilver_ore/raw_strandsilver or something should fix it.
