You forgot to set Mussolini's torso's HP to 4/5.

Otherwise, ouch.

I believe that would allow my (currently invisible) Defiant a shot at Massolini?

Your Hurricane wanted to move into a spot occupied by Boom, which in turn caused Tornado to stop well short of his destination. There was no other way to work around it, so I just stopped him where he was. Otherwise it all went fine. Managed to kill Gambara even through additional protection.

And yes, forgot to chip off Mussolini's armor.

Yes I did notice that, I knew my planning had gone too well...

Also, Who's turn is it now? Colonists or Mercenaries? Nevermind. Once I remember how to read...

Going to wait for the next map if you do not mind. I work better at strategy when I can see the whole picture.

Even if the pictures are really two different ones that are not connected.

And that's three (two, since one resolved before starting). Sorry for the delay, had a horrible day. Attacker (Mercenaries) moves.

Had to trim some status words. The blasted thing won't fit into the 40K limit otherwise.

Didn't get the bit about healing (full HP everywhere), so this round is about moving around.

Raiders move next.

I have to say I much prefer this style, with move endpoints denoted.

Kayne:
>Moves to E10
>Beam Cannon vs Lenin: [6]+1 vs [2] =Hit! [4] Left Arm hit for 3 damage! Accuracy reduced by 3.
>Kayne gains 3XP!
>Lenin gains 1.5XP!

Challenger:
>Moves to E11
>Beam Cannon vs Lenin: [5]+1 vs [5] =Hit! [6] Powerpack hit for 2+ damage! Powerpack destroyed! Shield down to 0.
>Kayne gains 1XP!

Abram:
>Moves to E9
>Beam Cannon vs Lenin: [6]+1 vs [1] =Hit! [3] Right Arm hit for 4 damage! Right Arm destroyed! Size down by 1.
>Kayne gains 4XP!
>Lenin gains 2XP!

Track:
>Moves to D10
>Compound Bow vs Lenin: [3]+0 vs [6]+1 =Miss!
>Lenin gains 1XP.

Strider:
>Moves to D9
>Compound Bow vs Lenin: [3]+0 vs [2]+1 =Hit! [2] Torso hit for 5 damage! Torso destroyed! Unit destroyed!
>Strider gains 7XP!

Cyclone:
>Moves to C12

Storm:
>Moves to B11

 2   .   .      .   +   X   T   U   .   .   .   .

 4   .   .   .   .   +   +   +   +   .      .   .
 5   +   +   +   +   +   +   +   R   +   +   +   +
 6   +   +   +   +   +   +   +   +   +   +   C   +
 7   +   +   +   +   +   +   +   +   +   +   P   N
 8   +   +   +   +   +   +   +   +   +   +   C   +

12   .   .   H   .   .   .   .   .   .   .   K   .

==Mercenaries==
==Raiders==
==Colonists==

And after foolishly wandering towards the bulk of the enemy alone, Lenin bit the bullet (or rather, two laserbeams and an arrow). Score one for the still hopelessly outnumbered Raiders!

Colonists move next.

You know, I quite liked the wreckage you left in the old game, it gave a sense of achievement. But i'm not really sure how you'd do that with ASCII.

Also, a small (unneeded) complaint. Kayne appears to be getting all the Defiant experiance :p

No, he isn't. 4XP to Abram, 3 to Kayne, 2 to Challenger. The status is correct. Only the descriptions were copypasted. :P

Also, wreckage in ASCII isn't impossible:

     A   B   C   D   E   F   G   H   I   J   K   L
 1   .   .   .   .   +   +   E   +   .   .   .   .
 2   .   .      .   +   X   T   U   .   .   .   .
 3   .         .   +   A   Z   A   .   .      .
 4   .   .   .   .   +   +   +   +   .      .   .
 5   +   +   +   +   +   +   +   R   +   +   +   +
 6   +   +   +   +   +   +   +   +   +   +   C   +
 7   +   +   +   +   +   +   +   +   +   +   P   N
 8   +   +   +   +   +   +   +   +   +   +   C   +
 9   .      .   W   D   .   .   .   .   .   .   .
10   .   .   .   W   D   .      Y      .   .   .
11   .   H      .   D         .   .   .   .   .
12   .   .   H   .   .   .   .   .   .   .   K   .

But it'll add a tiny bit of clutter to my spreadsheet. I don't know if it's even worth it, considering other drawbacks such as obscuring the terrain tile. Plus how the flumph will I have several wreckages on one tile, or have a unit occupy a tile with wreckage?
