So I had an idea for a secession fort. One that is mainly above ground. No, not necessarily a tower. More like... a castle. That could possibly be a tower.
Whatever.
Anyways, here is the embark:

IN. Please don't make me breach the aquifer. I will end up flooding something.

Can I be dwarfed but not play(still learning the game, haven't even encountered clowns yet)? A male Hammerdwarf if possible.

1st granite:

We have found this... frozen lake to start a fortress. The king has instructed us to build a fortress. Not underground, but above ground. We where told that there is a aquifer here... I guess it's time to plug it!
25th granite:

I...
what
18th slate:

We are now farming prickle berries. Later I will probably set up an underground farm, as well.
14th hematite:
We now have udnerground farms! This and the mining operations(for stone) are probably all we need down here
18th malachite:
Migrants! ...3 of them. On the wrong side of the river.
*sigh* I'll dig a pathway across it.

Also everyone who joined(and also kaguro) has been dwarfed.

It's probably made from baby bone, with a handle of baby leather. Probably uses the leg bones wound together for the handle, the pelvis for the handle/pick joint, and the pick is the spine.

But that's all in theory, of course. Not like I've made a pick out of my own 5 month old baby before.

Awesome, your hammer can control a wraith! I'm totally modding that in.

Regarding the aquifer; are you sure you didn't just embark over two biomes? The aquifer may only be part of one of the biomes and not the other.

Could I have a fisherdorf please?

Edit: What was fighting what when?
