Ronald "Plump of Helmets" (Blackdutchie):
(3) The expedition went smoothly. There was nothing up the coast except more hills and forests. However, when you reached the mountain range, the currents prevented you from paddling further, since it would have been likely that you would be dashed upon some rocks. With the expedition over, you return. You quickly scout the area around the village. (3+1) There's a few areas that could be good for defence, but the surrounding land is mostly hills and forests. (3) Your help with the building of the wall is much appreciated, though you leave most of the organizational problems to Perkwunos. (3) You do some basic spear drills with the villagers. You are confident that 30 spearmen could be drafted if needed.
Ochita (Ochita):
(5) You quickly rally the craftsmen to produces all the equipment that will be needed.
Diakron (Diakron):
(2) You hit some snags with designing some armour. Namely, you accidentally set some of your wood supplies on fire while drilling some holes in a piece of wood. Needless to say, this set your progress back a couple of weeks, though nothing else was seriously damaged. Slightly disappointed, you then turn to your police force, to get them working on the wall, thus toughening them up. (1) When you find them, most of them are either drunk or scared out of their wits. Even when they come to their senses, they still refuse to do anything, and spend most of their time huddled in their houses.
Oleb I (Nirur Torir):
(4+1) Except for convincing the police force, your speech was a resounding success. After you finished it, you were surprised that the entire village didn't just rise up and attack the cannibals with their bare hands.
Sheb (Sheb):
You start to organize the townsfolk for defence. (6) With Oleb's highly successful speech, everyone wants to help for defence. You spend the rest of the months trying to organize the over-eager townsfolk. When the wet season ends, everyone in the village has a task assigned to them, thus preventing them from causing harm with their good intentions.
Al'akif (Dwarmin):
Knowing that few people in the village can use a bow effectively, you set up an archery range for the people to train in. (3) While less people than you would like actually come to practice, enough people come that you are sure that the village could gather around 30 competent bowmen when the cannibals come.
Perkwunos (Dwarf):
(1) You attempt to continue work on the wall, but it is awfully hard to concentrate with all these scouts running about, yelling about how they spotted the cannibals coming. Wait. The cannibals are attacking?!?!?

LANDMARKS:
The village of Nilakost Uristrodum has a river running beside it. Several farms line the river, with small channels lining the sides of each farm. Currently, a maximum of 500 farmers could work here, for a fertility rate of 4, with the local villagers being able to draw 1000 units of water from the river.
MAJOR BUILDINGS:
At the centre of the village is a dusty area, used for public and religious events. A stone temple, able to hold ten people, sits beside it. Inside that stone temple are statues of the people who died during Ronald's expedition to Ulmitast.
RELIGION:
The villagers of Nilakost Uristrodum currently follow a type of spirit worship, led by Oleb I, the chief shaman. Ever since the tragedy that occurred during Ronald's expedition, some of the villagers are spiritually unsure.
GOVERNMENT:
The village is led by a council of five people, called the Nobility, who control most of the development in the village. To include new people into the Nobility, a vote is taken. If more than 4/5ths of the members vote in favour, the candidate joins the Nobility. The current head of the Nobility is Oleb, with the other members having certain responsibilities.
Below the Nobility is the General Consensus, where %5 of the population proportionally represent the workers. Their responsibility is to hold people on trail.
Historically, the murder of another man has a sentence of 1 year of force labour to the village, which some people think is not harsh enough.
A general draft can be called on the villagers, and a police force of 10 is enforcing the law.
TECHNOLOGY:
The village has no impressive technologies beyond the bow and arrow. They have boats, made of reeds, and land-boats, made of wood, pulled by oxen, which they have managed to domesticate.
Hand-powered querns are also in use.
The villagers of Nilakost Uristrodum are starting to use a base five system to keep track of numbers.
MILITARY:
The village defends itself with any farmers that can lay their hands on a pointy stick, or a bow and some arrows. No armour what-so-ever. Around 30 competent spearmen and bowmen could be called up, though the rest of the population are eager to fight. The military is highly organized, and even most civilians know what their job is if the village was under attack.
