So that mean I've taken care of the whole "Organize our citizen into a militia" then?

If you wanted to, then yes.

Also, it's pretty much nightfall right now.

Seven hours. Plenty of time.

I suggest we pile up whatever building materials we have in the city as makeshift walls, where the real wall has not yet been built.

My action changes very little: I tend to make people try to kill me when I open my mouth, and don't want to ruin my previous speech now. People should feel safer with somebody like me reassuring the children though. Probably by telling stories that end with some great moral lesson.

Priest? Staying alone with all the kids while the parents are away? I wouldn't feel safe. :p

Anyway, don't forget we need to sleep a little. Fighting after a sleepless night is a sure way to die.

I stand by my actions. If we have a gap in the walls, let's use it as a way to force the cannibals on our traps.

If it's nightfall we should place a bunch of torches at set distances from our defences, so we can actually see them coming. That way we can have shifts of people on guard and people sleeping. Possibly with the louder-mouthed to shout very loudly once the enemy is spotted.

Yeah, or just a few sentry, with order to light torches when they see the ennemies. Post them on hills too, so we have time to wake upa dn have a breakfast before the battle.

Also, I cannot insist too much on the whole Punji sticks scheme. Have our people work hard for 4 hours then sleep for 3.

There is wisdom in some sleep, but everybody should be awake for at least an hour before combat. How about two shifts of three hours working & sentry duty/3 hours sleeping, and then one hour of everybody preparing for combat?

If the cannibals spend time running to meet us, they'll be more exerted for the battle.

Actions:

Ronald "Plump of Helmets" (Blackdutchie):
Gather up the milita, and defend the hole in the wall.

Ochita (Ochita):
Gather people into your house, to protect them.

Diakron (Diakron):
Rally the police.

Oleb I (Nirur Torir):
Calm the children.

Sheb (Sheb):
Organize the farmers to finish building the walls. Set up Punji sticks.

Al'akif (Dwarmin):
Command the archers.

Perkwunos (Dwarf):
Go join the army.

Good?

Yeah. It's just sad that you didn't had me invent shield next turn. :)

But yeah. I hope I won't die in the battle.

Ronald "Plump of Helmets" (Blackdutchie):
(3+1) With all of Sheb organizational skills, its easy to rally the militia and station them around the gap in the wall.

Ochita (Ochita):
You quickly gather as many villagers as possible into your house, then climb on top of the roof to defend them. (1) The roof collapses under your weight (6) Luckily, you suffer only minor bruises, and a mild concussion that knocks you out.

Diakron (Diakron):
You head back into the village to try and rally the police. Finding them huddling in Ochita's house (Which appears to have gained a sky-light) you launch into a rousing speech that appeals to their manhood. (6) As you turn to leave, not only the police follow you, but the other villagers as well. You equip them all with spears.

Oleb I (Nirur Torir):
(4+1) You feel proud of the fact that none of the children try to kill you after you entertain them.

Sheb (Sheb):
Organizing the farmers, you hurry to finish the wall. (1+1) However, one of the beams is rotten, and breaks with a snap. Realizing that the beam is falling towards you, you attempt to leap out of the way. (2) The beam smashes onto your legs with a thud, as you black out from the pain.

Al'akif (Dwarmin):
Gathering the archers, you head off to station them among the walls. (6) It is only after you are finished that you realize that an extra 15 citizens snuck into your force.

Perkwunos (Dwarf):
You go join the army, as Ronald's aid.

CANNIBALS:
After a tense night waiting for the cannibals, they finally arrive around noon, emerging from the nearby woods. Through blood-shot eyes, Ronald attempts counts the forces of the cannibals. (2) However, he has troubles, since the cannibals are constantly shifting around, making it hard to count. However, one thing that he is sure of is that his militia outnumber the cannibals. One cannibal, obviously the leader, steps forward, and yells some words in a unknown tongue. One of the villagers from Ulmitast translates. Apparently, anybody who drops their weapons now will be spared. Looking around, Ronald notices that none of the militia does so.

When Ochita comes to, he wonders why he smells smoke.

In the middle of a story, Oleb hears some strange shouts, coming from the northern end of the square.

Sheb awakes in his house with his son tending to him.

Seeing as our army is quite motivated already, I don't hold another speech but rather order them into efficient formations that utilize our advantage in numbers.
(Also, i second the 'archers fire at cannibals for an answer')

I take up a bow on the wall myself, getting the archers to coordinate their shots with mine. I aim for the cannibal leader.
