A public service announcement (Front Mission Evolved)

Don't get this game people.

It's a completely generic and not even good 3rd person shooter with the name of a legendary strategy rpg series tacked on to try and sell more copies. I regret the 7 GB I (very temporarily) have wasted on it. Nothing unique about it, I doubt it was even developed originally as a Front Mission game. the PC port (as expected from SquareEnix) is completely rubbish too. Whee.

Yeah, I smelled a bad game from the beginning.

I should have looked closer at the box and seen the Double Helix Games logo. Basically, it is The Collective, Inc with some members of Shiny entertainment - obviously the mostly-okay talent of Shiny was watered down by the flagrantly terrible Collective staff.
