Also, with the details given, there is no difference in value between A and B.
A=B
What are you on about?
A always has the value of 1.
B has a value of 1, plus 1 for each A in the surrounding 8 squares.

He means that if you reversed the definitions, you should get the same answer. If B is one, then each A orthogonally or diagonally adjacent has value +1.

Yes, Also the answer where all A's are swapped with B's and vice versa, has an identical result.

No, all Bs also gives 100.

However, ed boy's example number 4 is number 2 inverted and rotated, and he got a different score for it, so at least one of you has made a mistake. Too tired to think of it myself right now.

Hokay. I parsed through this monstrosity I created and my head tried to eat itself a few pages back.

Anyway, we're up to Trig now in my tech math class. (I feel like I'm so far behind!) What function do I use to calculate the length of a side in a right triangle, where I only know the length of the hypotenuse?

You need at least one angle to go with that, I believe--or another side.

I was just coming back to fix that. I have the angle opposite one of the sides I'm looking for length on.

Soh Cah Toa -> Soh Cah Toa -> [Sin(angle)]hypotenuse = desired angle.

That...what is that? I've never seen that before.

It's a mnemonic to help you remember which trig function to use.

Sine = opposite/hypotenuse

Cosine = adjacent/hypotenuse

Tangent = opposite/adjacent

There some weird story about an Indian war chief named Sohcahtoa soaking his toe in the river, but I don't remember it.

I learned SOHCAHTOA from The World Ends With You. Sho Minamimoto was always shouting it in weird contexts.

So zetta slow!
...yeah, he just spouted off math with no context at all. Zetta is a ridiculously small prefix, 10^-30 or something.
