Why is minecraft so addicting? I mean its almost as addicting as dwarf fortress.

On don't you start on this bullshit as well. Notch is a busy guy with his company and really doesn't have the time to program when setting all this up. Cut him some slack. He'll go back to his rapid schedule once things are set up.

They were getting frequent updates, now they aren't, they blame it on the face of Mincecraft (Notch). Does this surprise anyone?

It's doing the opposite though because he's having to work his way through various obstacles set up by the Swedish government and Paypal. It all sounds extremely complicated, and I'm sure it is.
