I've found that pretty much every mini-boss is easy when you bring 2 or 3 people along with shotguns/rifles/pistols while you wield a sword or some of the heavy damage custom weapons.

How much difficulty did you have with the insane postal guy?

I didn't have any problem with him or the

I never thought about bringing survivors with me to psycho fights, as I usually am too terrified about losing them. Though I guess if I'm playing for psycho kills rather than every survivor, they serve as cheap labor.  Maybe next time I'll keep the band and give them an assault rifle, shotgun, and sniper rifle, respectively.

I had the rock band (3 survivors) wielding assault rifles when I faced the bobble-head guy. He died waaaay too fast.

Does anyone have a good strategy for the nutty Cure guy in the bathroom near the casino?

Generally speaking use Knife Gloves or any strong but fast weapon (broadsword)

Hit him a few times and then Dodgeroll before he strikes you.

I have a very good strategy. Wait outside, he will charge you and jump-attack. Jump aside and while he recovers attack him. He never strikes back and retreats to one of toilet cabins. This way he won't damage you at all.

You don't really need it. He's one of the easiest psychos. Just avoid him till he does his jump attack at you, run away from him so he misses, then get in a few free shots while he's stunned.

I think part of the problem is that I went into the fight with no idea what to expect and without any food. To make matters worse, I didn't know he was in there, I went into the bathroom trying to save my game. x.x so lost a little bit of play time there.

Yeah it's really lame that you can't save in the other bathrooms next door. Especially since you can save in those bathrooms before that psycho pops up, and after, but going there during will trigger the fight.

Its like playing any other game, going to the menu to save, and suddenly a guy jumps out and stabs your character in the face for no reason. Felt very arbitrary and I lost about an hour of play time. Meh.

I'm glad I checked this out via a torrent. The keymapping is utter BS. The key config file is barely even readable on top of that, and I've done my fair share of rewriting/remapping keys in .inis. There's no way I'm going to spend 30 mins mapping and retesting keys. Also, the game only wants to recognize 360 controllers. Got a generic dual shock? Haha, suck it, it won't work.

I'm sure the game is entertaining. But this has to be one of the laziest PC ports I've run across this year.

You can also use an XBOX360 controller emulator, like x360ce (which I use). My PC gamepad is essentially a Logitech dualshock 2 ripoff and it works quite nicely.

Well, the game is quite unforgiving for new players with all random tactics and timers :P.

But when you get used to it, you'll see that it's VERY easy. It's a game which requires a bit of skill and a lot of pre-knowledge (that's why you have to replay it).

And yeah, I don't have a dodge-roll still. As I said, JUMP ASIDE, it works like a charm and you won't get any damage at all.

I played around a bit with the competetive multiplayer, TIR. Kind of fun and gives really good money for the singleplayer/coop (won 70k by winning 3 out of 4 competitions, that and I got a new jacket). Apparently these competitions are randomly chosen, as the manual mentions 9 in total. Also, I ran into one competition that was rather buggy, or rather intolerant to lag - ramsterball.

The objective of ramsterball is to run around in a hamsterball, run over zombies and bump into these bumpers that turn your run-over score into the actual game score. Thing is, only the "leader" can do this and the lead is achieved by bumping into him and taking it over. Every hamsterball is simulated via physics, which is an ungodly pain to the netcode apparently. The balls just keep teleporting around and overall it felt completely random to me. Either the matchmaking failed to give me players with similar geographical location or it just doesn't do well with physics.

The other competitions worked rather well, mostly because they weren't overly reliant on player-player interactions.
