You're already docked! There are no pirate camps nearby, only Lionus. On the other side of the island, where there was no safe place to land, however...

Maybe you should ask around town? If you can find a way through the forbidding Jelly Jungle, maybe you can find a pirate camp on the other side!

You're in the human town, Lionus right now. The ship is docked, but you were unable to land on the other side of the island. The only way to get to the other side of the island is through the Jelly Jungle.

Wait for nightfall. Kill and absorb townspeople while they sleep. Also, after you have killed and absorbed everybody in the town, steal their gold for maximum pirateness.
