33d party organized at a rope
« on: December 07, 2007, 01:27:00 pm »

A child organized a party at a rope that I had placed in my dungeon. I ordered it placed and forgot about it so it wasn't set to be used by justice.

EDIT: It's a "rope reed rope."

Ropes, chains, and cages that aren't set to use as justice or owned by someone are zoos. Your child started a party at your zoo, which is fairly standard, even if it has no creatures in it.

Honestly!  Who doesn't like a nice empty zoo?

Actually in my experience, the dwarves are more interested in the "tastefully arranged restraint" than the animal chained to it.

I keep my improned dwarves in my zoo..one day a chained up dward threw a tantrum, destroyed the steel chain he was attached to, and beat the nearby partygoes to death. Then he destroyed a cage holding a bronze colossus, which killed him, destroyed the zoo, killed the animals in the zoo, killed 20 of my dwarves and a kitten, and finally died after hitting 4 10-spike weapon traps in a row. Needless to say, I don't make zoos anymore.

"Party at the Copper Cage" always make me laugh.  And scares me a little.

In fact, it could be a good name for a bar.
