All kobolds dream of this.
« on: September 26, 2010, 03:52:44 am »

Edit:See #14.

A dwarf got into a fey mood, claimed a magma forge, grabbed like 20 metal bars, gems and bones and he made that.

It is normal to create something with so many components or its just luck?

Uh, so what's the value?

Apparently having a redundant creature entry causes the game to say, "Oh, look, it's crazy world now. Nothing makes sense! Alligators live in houses!"

That's quite a good value for a Silver base.

It appears to have 2 images of itself on itself. Not quite planepacked levels of insanity, but I suppose it might be the same or a similar bug. Was this in 0.31? The planepacked bug appears to have to do with the 'stay inside' order which has been replaced by burrows.

I always (after reading about it here somewhere I don't remember or I'd give proper credit) make an 'everything' stockpile set to only accept artifact level items and set the other stockpiles to accept everything except artifact level stuff. Once you get into the swing of always doing it it isn't hard at all to keep up on. And artifacts always get brought to the Artifact Pile where I can easily forbid them and they can be ogled over by the locals.

That is a wasteful idea that recklessly endangers life. I applaud your genius!
There are as many ways to play the game as there are socks on a battlefield.

Nah, you'd probably have to mod them in with the [FANCIFUL] and/or [DOES_NOT_EXIST] tags.
