*Fishing would be important for food-getting.

Good I had an uncle, who was obsessed with it.

Quote
*Running is definitely a survival skill. Especially if there are snakes on this place.

Snakes aren't a good example.
I don't think there are any snakes who would chase a human.
And you would need superhuman reflexes to dodge an attack, should you unaware step into its biting range.

Besides you won't be able to outrun any bigger predator.
All you can do is fight it with a weapon, which keeps it at distance (something spearlike) or run to the next tree and climb it, preferably the latter.

I can outrun a brown bear, I already did my physics homework. Also, a chicken, some pigs (not sure about wild boar), and a three-toed sloth. If anything constitutes a predator, it's a three-toed sloth. In addition, this is a tropical island. There has to be a temple around just full of rolling boulders.

Running is apart of your ST, it's not a skill. Your skill at fishing will be determined by certain skills with a weapon. Martial arts, there's already the unarmed fighting skill.

Also, please try to keep the off topicness to something a bit more original. >:T Some other formites already had this discussion on speed.

Should I update my statblock with actual skills, or let you do that?

I dunno about you, but I'm going to let him do that.

I've decided to do that myself.

Any skill that is not apart of the list I posted that you felt was necessary to place in your blurb about you, will to my best abilities be incorporated into the game's set of skills.

So, no, you can leave it the way you want and write it anyway you want. You don't necessarily have to place a numerical value with it.

I'm cool with you doing it. Now I'm off to calculate how much force is needed to break open a coconut.

You don't really want to break open a coconut, all the juice would fall out if you did.

Also, god damit, we need more people! >:O

I would have some survival and combat relevant skills, that would fit in your skillset.
Update will be tomorrow, as its late now and it will probably take a while until the rest of the slots are full.

Should we make a list of the things we might have on a plane with us to put in our inventories, or are we starting with naught but the clothes on our backs?

Unless it's something you always travel with, than I'm just planning on starting all of you with random crap.

I can be 100% guaranteed to have at least four novels, two math textbooks, a couple of notebooks, and some writing implements.  Always.

I don't always crash onto an island, but when I do, I'm always wearing pants.
