StoryWelcome to the island. Here, you will have to do whatever you can to survive. You will receive no help from people outside of the island besides a backpack with a few supplies. After that, you will be on your own. We will drop you off at the safest spot on the island, and after that it's your choice whether or not you explore.
Luckily for you, there are plenty of things on the island that may prove useful. Such things include metals, animals, trees, rivers, and other things needed to live here. We advise you to find some things as fast as you can, before the other greedy islanders take them all away. You wouldn't want to risk your life exploring a cave to find it empty, would you?
Here are another few things you should probably know. First of all, stay
out of the ocean at all times. There are some things in there you'd probably not like to meet. Also, as you further explore the island, don't expect anything to get easier. The further you go, the harder(possibly more fun?) it will get. Finally, you can decide if the other people dropped off with you are friends or enemies. One day they could decide life will be easier without you and back stab you, so watch out.

ROLLS:

After one of your skills reaches 23, you gain an extra dice to roll. You'll continue to gain an extra dice after one of your skills reaches your max roll -1.
Your attack roll - enemies Defense roll = damage.
Your Skill roll - enemies luck roll = damage.
Your work roll - objects difficulty = what happens.
Your level in a skill will get added to your roll.

LEVELS:
If your roll(without the modifier) is higher than your current level, your skill levels up by one.
Wild enemies cannot level skills.

WEAPONS:
Ranged weapons: Get a -1 to your final damage. You always attack first.
No weapon: Get -2 to your final damage. You always attack last.

HUNGER:
You have 40 hunger points. Doing different actions will lower this. When your hunger drops to certain points bad things may happen to you.
If hunger is 15 or lower: You receive -3 to all rolls.
If hunger is 5 or lower: You receive -6 to all rolls.
If hunger reaches 0: You cannot attack and will receive -10 to all rolls. At the end of the next turn you will die.
Attacking: Costs 2 hunger.
Moving: Costs 1 hunger.
Working: Costs varied amounts of hunger.
Eating fruits: Gains 1 hunger.
Eating meat: Gains 3 hunger.
Eating cooked meat: Gains 8 hunger.
Drinking water: Will recover 3 hunger.
Sleeping(doing nothing for one turn): Will recover 2 Hunger.

1 sword OR 1 bow with 20 basic arrows.
Every character starts with 40 health. Whenever you take damage, you lose health.
If your health is 15 or below: you receive -1 to all your rolls.
If your health is 10 or below: You will recover 2 hearts each turn until you reach 15, but also receive -3 to your rolls.
If your health is 5 or below: You will recover 3 hearts each turn until you reach 6, but you are unable to attack and receive -7 to rolls.
If you run out of health: You're dead.
Eating fruits: will recover 1 health.
Eating meat: will recover 3 health.
Eating cooked meat: will recover 7 health.
Sleeping: Will recover 2 health.
The game will switch between day and night every few turns.
DAY: Day lasts four turns, and has no downsides.
NIGHT: Night lasts three turns, and you receive -2 to all your rolls. Sleeping during the night will recover 5 HP and hunger instead of 2.
As you do stuff with other people your relationship level with them will increase. Every action involving another person will raise your relationship level by one. Attacking a person will decrease it by one. The level of your relationship with the person will be added to all non-fighting rolls involving that person. The opposite applies for negative numbers, in which you gain bonuses to fighting each other, but nothing else. This could also make building things easier. Certain actions may also increase or decrease the relationship of someone, such as shielding them from an attack.
MODIFYING LEVELS:
-20: Pure Hatred (you are no longer able to perform actions with this person, besides fighting.)
20: Loving Care (You are no longer able to attack this person. You receive a +30 to all your rolls with them. The +25 cancels out what would normally be a +20.)
While traveling through an environment where creatures may be, I roll an encounter check. Any number from 1-3 means you find no creature. Any number from 4-6 means you will find one. The higher the number, the harder the creature will be to defeat. Luckily, even the hardest creatures at the start will be easy to deal with.
There is one encounter roll every day and every night. Creatures are harder during the night, but unable to come if you're in a shelter.
