I say we build a missile base when possible since it's underground and not exposed like our magrail or defense turret things.

We also need a missile designs for missiles so the base can fire. I'll get on it.

"Sunshine" MITM (Multiple independently tracking missile) Missile (cost 150 iron 100 uranium): The "Sunshine"  is a carrier missile with ten "Firecrack" MITMs, which are armed with small nuclear warheads. Individually they aren't very strong, but with ten of them in each missile it's difficult to shoot them all down and they can pelt the armor or shields of enemy ships with small nuclear explosions. The "Sunshine" and it's "Firecrack" MITMs aren't very long ranged, however. Up to three can be fired per turn by each missile base.

"Sabre" Antiship Missile (cost 100 iron 150 uranium): The "Sabre" is a standard nuclear missile. It's more interceptable then the "Sunshine"'s "Firecrack"s, but it packs a bigger payload then all ten of the "Firecrack"s the "Sunshine" holds. It's quite long ranged, too. Up to three can be fired per turn by each missile base.

"Disarmer" Antiship EMP Missile (cost 150 iron 50 gold): The "Disarmer" is a similar missile to the "Saber" except it uses an EMP blast that damages sensitive equipment on unshielded ships with no nuclear detonation. While it doesn't cause any actual damage per say, it does wreak havoc on most unshielded electrical equipment(including missile targeting, mind you!) and in the immediate area. Up to three can be fired per turn by each missile base.

"Guardian" Antimissile Missile (cost 10 iron): The "Guardian" is a short ranged anti-missile missile used to take out enemy missiles. Although it's more expensive then using energy weapons for the job in the long run, the "Guardian" has a much, much better chance of hitting enemy missiles. Up to five can be fired per turn by each missile base due it's small size and quick reload.

Also, build 30 (10 salvos) "Saber" antiship missiles as soon as any kind of constructor is idle.

Oh, and Spoon, it would be nice for you to list the cost of things in the front page so us players don't have to use the search function every time we want to build something.

Well correct me if I'm wrong but the problem I basically hav with shotting resources around without containers or magcather's on the other side is that you're basically shooting your own bases with kinetic weapons?

Well, shooting a container mean shooting a slug at your base, shooting without a container mean shooting grape. In both case it is advisable to shoot a few km away from your base as long as you don't have a magcatcher.
