This is the power reserve for normal usage. The vital functions power reserve is not included in these calculations and will only be used in emergencies. The vital functions power reserve is what keeps the satellite running. Calculations show that we will still be able to launch the drone after scanning the large moon but will not be able to take other actions except communicating with the drone thereafter until our power reserve recharges. Proceed with this course of action?

Energy gain rate is about 40% per day. One turn is one day. Scanning is fast and so I have not started counting turns yet.

I still say we go with that plan that Ghazkull had and go for the smaller moon; create lots o' little droids; INFEST COLONIZE PLANET FASTERRRR.

Look at the iron there! Perfect for droidmaking. And a clear atmosphere makes for perfect solar energy collection. A low gravity on the small moon means it's easy to move our created projects on and off the surface, etc.

We don't have to colonize the moon, just use its resources to aid us in colonization of the planet. Besides, it would be ridiculous to try to move an appropriate amount of water up TO the moon...

After scannng the various bodies on th planet and one of the moons you decide to recharge your power reserves before proceeding. As you orbit around the planet collecting solar energy, you wonder if you will ever decide to name yourself.
