THE PROBLEM(tm):

The PROBLEM is of course the imminent war with the BLOP EMPIRE's nearest spacefaring interstellar neighbors, the NOT BLOBS as we call them. Currently we do not know what they call themselves or even how they look, how advanced they are or even exactly how large their EMPIRE is. They have made several aggresive probing attacks on some of our more farflung colonies. Currently the BLOB EMPIRE is very vulnerable as all of it's colonies ar clustered together near the HOMEWORLD and they could quickly be defeated if the NOT BLOBS decided to go all out as they have a significantly larger EMPIRE. Thus the current extremely rapid expansion outward to other planets. For a larger base from which to construct a military and a increased chance of survival of the BLOBS should the HOMEWORLD fall.

You ask Hope if there is any new news on the PROBLEM.

"The NOT BLOBS have made several more probing attacks. It will not be long now until they realze how vulnerable we are currently and press a full assault. Perhaps another 2-3 months."

You ask Hope about supplies:

"I have with me 10000 units of iron, copper, gold, uranium, tungsten, silicon, geranium and BLOBIUM. I also have 5 ADVANCED CONSTRUCTION DRONES and a upgrade for your AI's ORGANIZATIONAL PROCESSOR, you will now be able to control up to 30 drones at the same time without incurring a efficiency penalty. I also have some 4 basic PLANETARY DEFENSE TURRETS."

Are ADV CONSTRUCTION DRONES Owls to us?

No OWLS are ADVANCED ALL PURPOSE UNITS. ADVANCED CONSTRUCTION UNITS build twice as fast but cannot fly or swim and does not have any weapory, nor are they proofed against entering a atmosphere.

are the drones in production atmos-proof? if they aren't Owl will have no backup.

No they aren't the advanced drone factory can however proof them at the cost of 100 iron each and start making them already proofed though this will cost more. The basic factory could not do proofing.
