th of Galena:
Today was... odd.
First, some human merchants arrived. As we were rebuilding the trade depot, which USEC tore down when the elves arrived, some kobolds showed up. As the military was being assembled, the human delegate decided that it would be a good idea to actually attack, and took off a kobold's leg. The kobolds then decided that it would be a good time to leave, and did so.
Next, some goblins showed up, and attacked the merchants on the other side of the fortress. Once the military got there, the goblins had buggered off.
Of course, the kobolds came back, and shot a couple arrows at me, before deciding to bugger off as well. And apparently the goblins and kobolds, somehow having decided that we are too strong for them, are now stealing anything they can get their hands on. Of course, since they actually can't get into the fortress, this means any of the random crap that is left lying around. Which is a lot.
Anyways, in all this confusion, Grendal apparently stopped the war going on between us and the humans. Frankly, I didn't even know about this war. Of course, with this 'war' over, we traded with the human merchants.
Oh look, here goes Satori, who thankfully has put on some frozen forgotten beast extract for the sake of dwarfish decency. Idiot.

th of Sandstone:
Vulcan had a mood today. Made an adamantine table, worth 720000, named Longmoths. It's encircled with bands of adamantine, but not much else. At least USEC has put it with the dining hall, where everybody can enjoy it, instead of stealing it for herself. Now, if we could only get the vomit off of it...

th of Timber:
USEC came out of her rooms, today, looking terrible. Vomit caked the front of her shirt. With blood-shot eyes, she looked at everyone, before declaring that she couldn't handle the stress, and that she was resigning her job as overseer. And, as I quote: "If any of you think you think about taking my rooms or my tomb, I got a *bronze short-sword* with your name on it." Afterwards, she stumbled back into her rooms, vomiting profusely.

OCC: Yah, I'm quiting early. Why? Because the only thing that is left to do on the tombs is to put stone statues in each of the four corners. And House is on break. Having my turn come up for three different succession games on the same day helped too. As such, I'll be passing the save onto the next person. There's some dwarven merchants outside of the fortress, thought it would be a good idea if the next overseer did what s/he wanted to do to them.
I didn't really do much this turn. Every dwarf has a tomb, and they really enjoy all of their gold furniture that I gave them, but you should dig out some more gold, we ran out of it.
Anyways, the save is
here, and I'm off to my next succession game. Wish me luck.
