new server http://www.hetzner.de/de/hosting/produkte_rootserver/eq6/

Its actually far easier to get established now than it was at the start of the new world. Crops can be pilfered, no need to spend weeks trying to find a windsown weed with peppercorn or wheat. Plenty of abandoned villages and even mines too.

for instance there's a large ghost town, full walls, and 5 small houses just north of us.... er me.  Man that's kinda depressing.

How are you supposed to find an abandoned mine? That is, mines with a mine hole already built don't register with the rustroot extract do they?

correct, but mines with a building signpost do

also, i play HnH, and have an iron mine. pretty secluded if you wanna come and raid the place, i'll log in, make you a key and you can get settled in :D

as for going there with an old character, i doubt you want to travel 8-12 hours to get there

I'd be crazy enough to try it. :P

But I'm only going to be joining villages that are built inside a cave.

OMG! So it's true that they named an axe after b12? :P

I'm A.Silkthread in the game. I do a lot of boat travel and runestone carving at the sides of rivers :P

Already made a house, and nice little enclosed claimed estate... Heh. I live on one side of river, three of my friends on the other, helped me out.

You can join with a couple of established people. My small village is relocating, but we can give you your own fun cave to play in, or let you live in a mine if you want. PM me if your interested in meeting us.

And yah, B12 was a significant portion of the player base in world 1, and the B12 axe is the only item named after a community. J&L promised that there would never be any other references, which is sad because we are hardly present enough this world to earn the distinction.

well if we can keep pulling people in, and get our mines really set-up.  Maybe we could become a good power in this world?

Thats what we're aiming for, but so far limited manpower has meant limited success.

The problem is that many of us have tried the game already and left for various reasons. Sometimes people come back now and then but it seems there are some people who truly enjoy this game and most of the others who learn most of what there is to larn then get bored of the grind.

I personally wouldn't go back unless they added something fun to do. Its mostly inventory management and filling your inventory and making new inventory items out of inventory items to find more inventory items. And clicking.

We cannot teach you to play unless you PM me and come to Old Castille. We are making a new one, by the way, closer to some resources, once we've prepped enough linen for some banner rushing.
