Haven and Hearth
« on: September 23, 2010, 08:46:13 am »

Yeah. This thread again. BUT. Does Bay12 currently have a village? If not, why the hell not? It's a good game. AND, they even made a weapon named after Bay12.

In any case.

If Bay12 + HnH = True then
What is the hearth secret?
Else...

I'll be willing to start one up. I've got a few good months under my belt and I've seen the best and worse this game has to offer. From backstabbing village members to russian diplomats. I've had a village claim once before, and, so forth.

Anybody up for a revival?

Well, I'm currently playing HnH alone, on the border of a hearth-forest, if any decent players want to come hang out. Post here/PM Me if so.

*shrug* It's just an invitation. I'm quite happy to play alone, but it's an open invitation. :)

I would like to join you bit I hardly know how to play, if you could help teach me I'm sure we can get a better camp setup.

I've actually ran a few villages.

London: Newb village, just started. Scared off by thieves. Population of 4 or so.
New London: Semi-successful. Full of newbies crying for help, im-the-bestest'ers calling me a nazi dictator for trying to organize the construction of a palisade. Killed from the inside by a traitor. Population of 20 or so.
Deadwood: First serious village. Went well. Fought off a russian attack, building a 1000+ tile palisade all the way around in less than 12 hours. After killing their leader, we ran far, far, FAR, away. 40+ mins away. Population of 7 or so.
New Deadwood: Best village. Small yet spacious, everybody uses the same palisade, 5 either side of a inside road, exits either end. Village claim'd. Died due to lack of villager activity. Population of 6, down to 1.

If you don't mind reading up on the wiki before asking me, every 2 seconds, sure. I'll gladly ask any questions, as long as you wiki'd them first. PMing the Hearth Secret.

Aren't you the azkanan that was involved in a drama llama with another forum on HnH?

I think that involved real-name-dropping right?

No offense,  just makes me nervous to be involved.

That's the product of betrayal, lies, stress and far too much of playing (16+ hours a day).

Now I just play to fill in the hours between working out =].

I found Haven and hearth more enjoyable when you could still do more things by yourself, I also don't really like the quality system, as it just forces more skill grinding on the player.
