One time, exclusive offer: I'm part of Buyan, which is one of the few especially powerful and significant villages in the game. I am also wanting to take on an apprentice. I cannot offer you citizenship, but pending on successful apprenticeship and your character, I could intercede in your sake. All prospects should PM me with both your time zone, and your likely hours of play (your time).

Basically, it amounts to this.
Pros: Free stuff, a safe place to learn the game, introduction to good people, your chance of joining Buyan goes from a practical 0 to a higher but undefined percent.
Cons: You have to do occasional menial labor, you have to put up with me, I reserve the right to fire you.

Update 2: The failure appears to have been caused by Apache eating metric shittons of memory. This may be caused by me forgetting to set up the minimap directory to forbid index listing; someone might have requested it, even by mistake.

Update 3: Many village files have been corrupted.

Update 4: The corrupted villages will appear as if gone, quite simply. Their village idols can be reactivated as if they were newly built. I'll try to arrange so that broken authority objects can be right-clicked to turn back into the materials from which they were built.

The village issues appear to have passed over Buyan, thankfully. Also, Dakk, it has already caused a rough 2 hours of rollback AFAIK.

One of the older B12 communities, New Dorenzil, got wiped out recently. A moment for our brethren.

To be quite fair: Dorenzil has been kinda dead for months now. Very inactive.

In lieu of any actual leaders logging in, I elected the cow to be the new chieftain.

A few days later, some ass broke through the palisade and killed it. And its executive staff (the sheep) and the mistress (the piggy) then the rest of the senate (the chicken coop).

A disastrous blow to the agricultural political bloc.

I used to play this a really long time ago with a guy on this site. We got to the edge of the world once, but he was banned.


Wow. It looks really pretty now. A lot better then back when I used to play it. Too bad my computer probably can't run it anymore.
