There is unrest in the fortress,
There is trouble with the elves,
For the pansies want less lumber
And the Dwarves ignore their pleas.

The trouble with the pansies,
And they're quite convinced they're right
They say the Dwarves are just too greedy
And they chop up all the life.
But the Dwarves can't help their feelings
If they like how beds are made.
And they wonder why the pansies
Can't be happy in their graves.

There is trouble in the fortress,
And the kobolds all have fled,
As the pansies scream "Oppression!"
And the dwarves just shake their heads

So the pansies formed an ambush
And demanded dwarven blood.
"The dwarves are just too greedy;
We will make them pay the price."
This made the dwarves quite angry,
So they trapped a corridor,
And the elves were shown their errors
By corkscrew, axe, and saw.
