Fixing obsidian weapons

on hearing that the bug was fixed i set about geting a obsidian sword in to adventure mode.
after finding out how

i tryed put it to a good use only to find that it acts more like a poor club than the shaper than steel horse beheader of legend.

as the obsidian sword stands it is worse than useing wood.

Agree, plus that's about the LAST thing *I* want to see from this kind of game - author spending valuable development time on useless graphics.

The fact that obsidian only has twice the edge of steel but none of the other good qualities is probably letting you down.

Two possibilities:
First, mod in a new reaction to make a "Macuahuitl" with stats somewhere between an axe and a whip.
Second, replace obsidian's default qualities with those of steel.

Shouldn't that be just "[PRODUCT:100:1:WEAPON:ITEM_WEAPON_SWORD_SHORT:INORGANIC:OBSIDIAN]"?
