Psykers are even more guaranteed to die than the others because of perils of the warp.

Judging from the description, those are a bit more advanced than your first level/class psykers.
maybe you could build up to one, though?

As a general rule of thumb, if you see it in the tabletop game, chances are it's way out of your league, and would kill your entire party in two rounds.

I'm trying to decide what class I'll be.  If someone wants Psyker I might end up being a scum or an arbitrator.

Yeah, that's what i've been hearing. The idea is to start as low level weaklings and die before you get very powerful, ahah.
A lot of pen and paper roleplaying games have low life expectancies so I imagine that one as GRIMDARK as this would have a very low one.
Though out of the roleplaying games i've played, Call of Cthulhu/Cthulhu d20 had the lowest, yet somehow our Luchadore and Samurai managed to be the most effective in combat.

Rogue Trader puts you at a significantly higher power-level, that's another RPG I'd like to try.

Anyway, my guy's almost ready, and will be up shortly.

Yeah, I want to try some rogue trader at some point. Sounds pretty cool, being able to fly around kicking heads in for profit.

Spoiler: Tarkan, Hiveworld Scum (click to show/hide)

I believe everything is in order, if something isn't tell me.  It's been a while since I've played DH.

Nice. I'm having a bit of a problem choosing.
Male Hiveworlder Assassin or Female Voidborn Assassin.

So do we have anyone planning to be adepts or clerics or anything?  You gotsta have your smartypantses.

Also, Culexis assassin, everything else is for bitches.

Also also, the newest WH40k RPG, Deathwatch, will apparently have Officio Assassinorum guys as well as Space Marines, but I'm not sure when it comes out.

Then maybe I'll be the psyker.  I dunno, I'm still not entirely sure my above character is notable enough to be taken in by an inquisitor, so I might make a new one.
