Anybody tried the subj?
I'm at glacier biome and curious about dealing with all that ice around.
I guess it is possible to make huge magma lake just below the glacier (thus melting all ice above) and carve fortifications at the edges, so magma can leave the map (thus melting all edge ice walls).
And then whole ice mass got to collapse. Spectacular

During a magma-pumping accident i managed to get some magma close to the glacier. There was a bit of melting, obsidianising, refreezing and such. But mostly pain as my fps plummeted to 0 and refused to get better.

Good luck with trying it, but I recommend backing up your save before the attempt.
