Dragonball Z Kai
« on: September 19, 2010, 08:09:07 pm »

I absolutely loved this series as a kid, and watching the show is an awesome flashback, especially with everything being remastered and all. But there's only one television in the house and 6-7 is about the worst time to be able to watch it. Is there any place I can reliably watch the show in english online without paying amazon or someone a buck a pop? (Which amounts to an awful lot seeing how the series contains something near 100 episodes.) Doesn't necessarily have to be free or anything, but I won't spend nearly that much on it.

Also, discuss.

Not legally.

Also, they changed the opening theme song for Kai, right? It's a well-accepted fact that the Dragonball Z opening theme is up there with the Power Rangers SPD and Inspector Gadget themes as being one of the greatest of all times. Why on earth they thought changing it would be a good idea is beyond me.

They already changed it from this for the American version, so maybe it isn't that surprising?

DONT STOP DONT STOP
WE'RE IN LUCK NOW
GO GO DRAGON BALL

I've been seeing this on and off on Aangtoons and it's okay.  I don't really have any attachment to it though, which is funny seeing as it's full of muscle bound men.

Someone told me that if you watch DBZ with your eyes closed during the fight scenes, it sounds like gay porn. I declined to try it, though. :-\

You're not confident enough in your sexuality to NOT look at men with their shirts off and their biceps rippling?

I was going to make a funny comment but then I remembered that I find it super hot.

Thus, you're not actually looking at them.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.
