Artifact Iron mace?
« on: September 19, 2010, 07:20:28 pm »

the entrance to my fort is only 1 tile wide, should I put it there, or in the meeting room?

Give cats natural metallic armor and throw them in your danger room.  Also allow their mouth and tail to grasp (shield in mouth, weapon in tail xD)  Have a cat based military.  You know, do the same with all tame animals xD send in the cats as shock troops to disrupt the archers

This is a platinum warhammer. All craftsdwarfship is of the highest quality. it menaces with spikes of platinum.
there is an image of the goblin Utes Gozrusrozsnus and dwarves in elf bone. The goblin is making a plaintive gesture. the dwarves are striking a menacing pose.
this image relates to the slaying of Utes Gozrusroz

What's the point of artifacts anyway? They're usually crappy equipment unless the dwarf picks up a steel or adamantine bar.

Artifact crossbow's are not useless at all. Neither is furniture, which can be set around for added happiness to dwarves and nobles. Artifact weapons and armor, though, yeah, that stuff tends to be useless when they grab crappy metal.

Quality multiplier of 120. That's ten times masterwork. And the display case mod even allows shitty artifact crafts or armor to be valuable happiness-generators.

It also, increases fortress wealth massively. Which you can take as a good or bad thing.
