Ugh, tried it again and it didn't work, I aimed it at the UF0_96 folder and came up with the same error. Do I have to aim it at a different one?

Sorry for being a pain..

Do you have the actual original XCOM game?

No. The original X-Com is not needed to play. However, the graphics of the game are incomplete, and you'll have a few missing sprites if you don't import the graphics from the original.

UFO2000 is free and opensource turn based tactical squad simulation multiplayer game, heavily inspired by the famous UFO: Enemy Unknown and providing a very similar reimplementation of its tactical part.

Not completely off-topic, but UFO2000 only supports (according to the wiki) multiplayer tactical battles at the moment. UFO: TTS includes both the geoscape and battlescape, and seems to play quite similarly to how the original would if mutiplayer was possible, with a few balance tweaks and modern upgrades (Like saving troop loadouts).

Also, UFO2000 isn't very good, from what I saw.

Sorry if you feel that its offtopic, i felt like its a good place to bring up similar x-com based multiplayer game. I personally had great time with ufo 2000 via hotseat with my friends. ...some houserules were needed, we agreed to not level down the whole map with explosive ordnance and set everything on fire. :)

Says the one who complained about me using "too many" IN rounds.

We played another round. Snakeman terror missions against a human can be quite hard, especially if you've only got 5 laser rifles, 5 IN autocannons, and a rocket tank. I count it as a victory though: As my last three people were panicking and unwilling to save the Skyranger, his computer crashed from my early attempts to level New York City.

Too much smoke.  How far back is the autosave?

I think I should hold back on playing this until I get my desktop back, I can't afford to overestress this laptop.
