I've downloaded the game, but I'm ridiculously good at walking my guys into ambushes/overwatch arcs, at which point the Plasma shot kills them.

Also, I just met Snakemen. Those guys are ridiculous.

I'm not going to play this much until my desktop is fixed, it makes my computer run too hot.

I started first battle, but game window don't respond, while using 95% CPU. It's for a while now.
It's gonna be okay or should I kill the process?

I dunno, this seems like a pretty processor intensive game. That makes me a tad nervous about multiplayer, I might seem really slow.

It's processor intensive enough to make my (buggy, faulty) pc turn itself off, which it has so far only done for games that are way out of its' league.

Still, it got me out of a Terror mission that was going really badly, so I can't complain.

It makes me sad, I really want to play this again, the whole thing is an awesome idea, but this laptop just can't do it.

:<  I guess I'll have to wait a few more days, maybe some bugs will be fixed.

Also, there's no Cydonia right now.  The goal of the game is to destroy all the enemy bases.

Hmm. Looks like the game doesn't come with all the graphics needed for buildings in Terror Missions. Makes it damn hard to figure out what the hell I'm meant to be doing.

I really wish I had the original, if just for the graphics I need.

Agree, plus that's about the LAST thing *I* want to see from this kind of game - author spending valuable development time on useless graphics.

Unofficial slogan of Bay 12 Games.

Only if you get in Hamachi and give a more descriptive explanation.

Get it, it's worth it.

This. The original is, what, $2 on Steam? Seriously, best digital toonie you'll ever spend.  ;D

(Toonie == Canadian $2 coin, for the rest of you out there.  :P)

I would, but I don't have access to the original, or online monies to buy it. It's a fair bit unplayable without the missing sprites.

But yeah, pretty sweet game, if a massive processor hog.
