Using water to wash away invaders?
« on: September 19, 2010, 07:23:08 am »

Is it possible to use water to wash away live creatures? I believe that some people have said it is, but in my own experience things in flowing water don't move (dead fish staying still in the water, drowning and dead goblins not moving with the flow, etc.).

Yes, flowing water will move creatures and objects, but only if it is at less than full depth (less than 7/7 water per tile).  Once a tile becomes completely full water will no longer flow through it, but will instead teleport from one side to another.  Essentially, flow only happens when the depth is less than 7/7, once it reaches full the tile becomes a superconductor and water can pass through without causing flow or pushing objects.
