The Rogharr Dungeon: Character Information Thread

Finally they arrived at one of the entrances of the famed dungeon itself.
Thanks to their guide they are also able to just walk in without any guards to stop them,
cause next to the gate two bloodied kobold bodies lay dead on the ground.
And so the adventurers start their journey into the famous Dungeon of Rogharr, pretty sure that they will succeed in getting the famed sword itself
and get back to the surface again, except of course, for the guide that already saw the horrors down there...

Somewhere else...

'Don't be so negative you two, I am pretty sure we'll find it soo...'
The two thieves throw the cleric on the ground at exactly the same time.
'Kobolds, nasty creatures.' The male thief said.
'Maybe three or four of them.' The female finished.
'Stay here, and don't follow us.'
The thieves together crawled further through the high grass until they saw the entrance of a cave fortified by a strong oaken door guarded by one goblin with a wooden spear and the keys to the dungeon and three kobolds with simple wooden clubs.
While the goblin really 'guarded' the entrance the kobolds were just fighting for a piece of meat.
This could be an opportunity...
And so the journey for this group into the dungeon begins too...

Deep in the dungeon:

Gubble looked while he saw the stupid adventurer fell into his trap, a trap that shoots poisenous needles which have no remedy except strong magic.
Gubble watched while the adventurer slowly fell to the ground and, when he was dead, began inspecting the other traps again, like he always did...

Oh, I just saw an unexplained forum post with no defined rules and tried to make reasonable assumptions about how the game was supposed to work. :D
Alright, never mind.

I'll check the corpses, looking for keys if I can find them and general loot if I can't, then cast Will-O-Wisp and head inside.

Velvet remained silent. She already disliked her companions. They would be out to get her. Right now, though, she knew that she needed them. She used the grass for undergrowth, trying to get as close as she could to the goblin. Taking down the only wary creature silently would allow for quickly finishing those that were distracted. She aimed to throw one of her knives, thinking how hitting the throat would be just fine..

Velvet sneaks as close as she can safely get to the Goblin, then tries to kill it by throwing a knife into its throat.

Muller sneaks in the grass, towards the goblin. He goes opposite of Velvet (But not opposite enough that he could get hit with the thrown dagger.) Hopefully, Velvet will hit the goblin. If not, well, Muller has a dagger he can sink into its back. Muller took a quick look at the kobolds. He knew they had no taste for combat. If he surprised them, he should gain the advantage.

Muller sneaks around the goblin, ready to backstab it if Velvet misses. If Velvet hits, he'll attack the kobolds.

Note to Atilliano... Link your threads together, Put both the OCC Thread link and the Character thread Link into the first post of this and so on so that all three threads are able to be linked together, so that what happened with the 2nd poster don't happen again. Stop being lazy...

Try and remember how the first part of this path went, been a few years since he had been down it, or was it the other entrance... No it was this one, there was a marking on a tree that the Dwarf left before entering, but that marking was nearly all hidden by growth of the bark itself. How long was he down here for....

Dancing through the shadowed ways of the dungeon, toiling as he had for eternity within this darkened realm, the Shadowed Trickster soon finds one of his many magical sensors has been triggered. It seems that something has just entered the dungeon's west-most 'secret' entrance. Damn goblin recruits, never do their job right.

Then, another dim point of light appears next to the first, this time indicating the sewer duct next to the main entrance.
Hehehe... he thought evilly to himself
It seems the Guillotine Sewer-way will finally be blooded...
Gubble had been disappointed that this passageway had been so neglected by the countless unwary intruders which have assail this dungeon over the years. This, he would have to see.

The Party only finds the key of the entrance on the kobold bodies.
They open the wooden door and see a stone stair leading downwards.
There are no torches and Dylan casts the spell will-o-wisp to create some light.
The party goes downstairs and after half a minute of climbing the stair ends and a large opening in the rock is visible.
They get into a room of approximatly twelve square feet.
The room has one door in the left and one door in the right wall and next to the wall in front of them, a wooden chest stands.

Velvet's knife doesn't hit the throat, but instead flies too high and pierces the teeth of the goblin and gets stuck deep inside the mouth.
having a knife sticking out of it's mouth the goblin makes a gurgling sound and falls to the ground, but the kobolds notice this and quickly find Velvet lying on the ground.
David quickly sees the danger and now has to decide what to do.
Cain who followed the thieves now sees they are in danger and the party will have to fight.

Gubble looks while the party of five elven rangers proceeds through the sewer-way getting closer to his trap every second.
Now it will happen, the trap will be activated once that elf over there...
(You can think of a trap by yourself)

The treasure chest is an obvious lure, so it's probably a trap. I'll poke it with the staff from as far away as possible to see if anything happens. If nothing does, I'll try to use the staff to lift the lid and see if anything's in it. But first I'll tell Karrn and Nanoth to watch my back and make sure nothing sneaks up on me.

If Velvet hits, he'll attack the kobolds.

Muller will attack the kobolds, screaming. The kobolds will probably be scared out of their wits, and flee. At least Muller would kill a few, do to surprise and all.
