I use a modded race(Draconians) and they use scimitars.
Every time my swordsman attacks something, whether it be a werewolf or deer, he slices it cleanly in half.
Can anybody explain?

what's the edge properties on the scimitar and the material?  Maybe your weapons have a huge, and very sharp edge while being made of a heavy material?

IDK but if they are having such luck cutting people ,in half, occasionally they should also slap them to death according to the raws

I think this has more to do with the skill of your soldiers than it does with the properties of the weapon.

It was only 3 logs, with the 2nd being the enemy retaliating.
He always seems to slice 'em at the 3rd log.
Btw, he's only proficient swordsman, adequate fighter, and competent shield user.
He's using a steel scimitar.

That seems about right if the enemy aren't armored. I don't know how much difference armor makes.
