Years later my cousin's outpost gets raided by Towlies

You're really endearing yourself, yeah.  Also, I'm pretty sure Britain was the largest other participant.  They usually are.

I'd say it's entirely fair to fob off "allies" who send non-combat troops numbering less than a hundred, or in cases like Palau, purely goodwill.

Some of those Rhinoceros policies are great.  I actually quite liked some of the MRL policies, too

Well, what's wikipedia for?

There might've been troops being pulled out lately, but we were talking 2004.

Can not any up and down be a "bell curve"? and even then it would need to be shifted down one step anyway no?

Well, the important part of a bell curve is that the vast majority of results lie within a central area, with the minority in both lesser and greater areas from this central area. Thus, Bay 12 is mostly Extreme Liberal, Liberal, and Apathetic; along with a minority of various Conservatives and (by assumption, Nikov's poll could use better options) Ultra-Communists.

Can it also be thought that we have some SUPER LIBERALS and a small number of ULTRA LIBERALS? If you extrapolate.

As a minority my opinion is more important than yours. Just ask any university!

Quote
"Are minority opinions important?"

"Of course they are!"

"Should you encourage minorities to voice their opinions for the sake of diversity?"

"We wouldn't dream of anything less!"

"So Conservatives should be allowed to..."

"Oh no, they're the majority."

"But there's only two conservative professors on campus; the economics head and the military history teacher."

"Well, they're the majority outside of the university."

"Why aren't they in the university? Are you intolerant to them?"

"Of course not! They just prefer their greedy big money in corporations."

"But liberals have been found to be, on average, richer than..."

"GET OUT OF MY OFFICE."

That's totally how that conversation would go, and my hypothetical strawman proves it. Please don't take this too literally and strike up a huge farking debate. I'm just joking.

It's interesting, actually--at Berkeley, the conservative club is the biggest club on campus.  Just goes to show, I guess.

I've been meaning to mention for a while, but when I voted, there were no votes into C or C+.

Why did you wait to vote, Nikov?

Or did you vote Liberal?

You sly dog, you!

I think you're thinking Iraq, although yeah, Britain is still in Afghanistan...but I think they're only there with their spec ops. So it kind of depends on what you're talking about: the size of the nation involved in the coalition or the size of their commitment to it.
Britain has some combat troops in Afghanistan, although we've scheduled a pullout.  The SAS deployment was meant to be secret, but Gordon Brown decided to boast about it in parliament, so...

Oh yeah, Britian.

312677 km2 = Poland, 234411 km2 = Britain.

Although that's probably not what you're on about. Anyway, I find it hillarous you're offended at the South-Park referencial expression 'Towlie', as if this displays more hatred and contempt for the Taliban than any of a broad slew of other generic derogatory expressions. I reserve the right to call people trying to kill a family member whatever name I want to.

Oh boy, this is going to get out of hand.

HAY EVERYONE, DOUBLEDOWNS.

@Vector: Not to discount clubs, being student organizations. But its like how bacteria clump up when exposed to chlorine. Ask them sometime if they're in the club for political activism or having people they can talk to without their hair falling out.
