Ideally I'd like a reactionary, repressive theocracy so I could have something to be really grumpy about and have something in my comfortable upper middle class existence that I could write songs about (that isn't me.)

Even the parodies, like Colbert Report or American Dad.

C has a guy that imitates people with Parkinson's mockingly, and people that hate computer games.

South Park is L-. They are actually less left than many of our other favourite shows, despite how political it is, because they're still fairly intolerant towards some issues (I'm thinking of the Transgender episode in particular, where they make it clear what they think of the issue).
