I'll wait for Nirur to reply to that before I update.

I attempt to follow orders from the general, governor, or their subordinates to the best of my ability (Such as making it go).

If I have immediate orders, I'll attempt to create a firewall that will slow down the AI.

I will also warn the general about the failed attack.

[5] Following the Governor's instructions, you turn on the engines. The train begins moving, slowly gaining speed along the tunnel. [6] You construct a firewall that will aid you against the AI's attacks. [4] You warn the Governor and the Admiral about the AI. The Governor nods. 'That thing took out most of my compound's security single-handedly. It'll come back, so keep an eye open.'

Search for some parts to make some explosive rounds for the pistol.

[5] You find an empty compartment and break apart anything that looks even vaguely useful. [1] You wreck some of the materials trying to create explosive rounds for the pistol, though. There's still some left.

Some Scrap Metal added to Inventory!

Quickly head to the train and alert the guards to Ludd's position.

[3] You can't see any obvious routes which you could use to get past Ludd unseen, so you decide to use Plan B - just running through the room. [1] You take a single step and crash face-first onto the floor right at Ludd's feet. Oh shit.

Attack the injured cultists, and quickly harvest their organs.
If the other cultists return, run.

[4] You rush to the aid of your comrade, [3] determining the uninjured man patching up Ludd as the biggest threat. [Dodge:6] He performs an astounding backflip away from you, but you charge on, [Dodge:2-1=1][BP:1] scoring a perfect hit right between his eyes. [Damage:6+1=6] You cleave his head in two, sending pieces of bone and flesh everywhere. [6] It doesn't seem the others heard anything, and Ludd and the other cultist are too surprised to do anything. [4] Right before their eyes, you begin calmly and systematically harvesting the man's body for any useful organs. A skilled professional like you has no trouble extracting whatever you need.

Fresh Brain added to Inventory!
Internal Organs added to Inventory!

Ah well. Still build a hand held computer, look up new schematics requiring the stuff I have now online.

[6] Even though you only have little metal, you get to work constructing a handheld computer. [Power:6] It is basically a supercomputer in miniature size, dwarfing any other system out on the market. Normally, something this powerful would take up an entire room. [Size:1] It is ridiculously tiny, the size of a small cellphone. It won't be easy actually using this thing. [Functionality:1] Like that wasn't enough, it covers the screen with errors every time you press something, shuts down on it's own every five minutes, refuses to use it's full processing power most of the time and forces a system update and a virus search every time you try to use a program. If you're lucky, you might manage to use it properly every two days or so. [Fuel:6] The good news is it's totally self-sufficient and doesn't need to be ever recharged.

[1-3=1] You try to go online, but the machine pops up a few dozen 'not responding' messages and shuts down. *sigh*

Miniature Supercomputer added to Inventory!
A Little Scrap Metal removed from Inventory!
Some Mechanical Parts removed from Inventory!
Computer Parts reduced to Some Computer Parts in Inventory!

Takes off the cakehelmet and tries to figure out stuff about the AI program tinhg that is invading us.

[2] You check what little data Nirur gathered about the AI before he banished it, but can't seem to figure out anything about it's purpose or creator.

Quote from: Zanael
Setback. Retry. Breach.
[6+1=7] vs [Nirur:4+3=7] The AI attacks again, this time twice as fast, but soon hits the firewall. Before it can attack the firewall itself, Nirur has removed it from the system once again.

Quote from: Ludd
Damnit! They're here!
[4+1=5] Gathering his wits, Ludd lets out a shout of 'they're here!' and charges at [2] Doc Fuzz. [Dodge:6] Fuzz rolls away before the attack hits, though.

Quote from: Other Cultist
Die!
[3][1] The wounded cultist decides to kick Tor while he's down instead, [Dodge:1][BP:2][Damage:6+1=6] (Oh shit.) Tor screams in incredible pain as the cultist puts his boot through his chest, cracking apart bone and flesh and smashing up some internal organs for good measure. With the wounds already received from the Resonance Detonator, Tor's doomed. Rather than to deal with the horrible, burning pain, his mind snaps and he blacks out, bleeding to death on the cold stone floor.

Tor:Torso: Critically Wounded!

[Survival Roll:5] Tor somehow manages to hang onto life, even as the giant hole in his torso spews out more and more blood onto the floor. The cultist might have something against that, though.

Auch, dermonster, you sure are one unlucky bastard. Looks like we might have our first death in the horizon.

Discontinue screwing with the computer thing and put my helmet back on. Ask for a medic to help me with my few scratches, unless he/she is busy.

I think the best option here for you is for Fuzzy to pick you up and run away. Though soon there will be a train filling the tunnel outside, so you'll have to be quick if you want out. There's no guarantee this will work either, though, whatwith Fuzz's tendency to trip on metal bars.

See? This is what happens when you give up ultra cosmic power!

Explosive rounds for the pistol. NOW!

[3] You construct a few explosive bullets for your pistol. [2] They're actually weaker than your normal shots, and thus, rather useless.

3 Explosive Bullets added to Inventory!
Mechanical Parts reduced to Some Mechanical Parts in Inventory!
Some Scrap Metal reduced to A Little Scrap Metal in Inventory!

I continue to fight the AI, with or without support from my fellow scientist.

[5] You go on the offensive, creating an artificial weakpoint to lure the AI in. [Dodge:1] It takes the bait! [Damage:4+1=5] Before it realizes what's happening, you're already purging it off the face of the earth. It flees, heavily corrupted and lacking most of it's advanced programming. [1] Your fellow scientists seem to think you've got it all well under control.

Discontinue screwing with the computer thing and put my helmet back on. Ask for a medic to help me with my few scratches, unless he/she is busy.

[1] You attempt to put your helmet on the wrong way around. [5] Neither your head or the helmet suffer any harm, thankfully. [2] You try to find a medic, but the train is very crowded. You try to push past the soldiers at the door but they simply ignore you.

Graah! See if you can get the processors out to help Nirur.

[6-3=3] You somehow manage to connect your supercomputer into the control computer and use it to reinforce the firewall. [3+3=6] You've probably made it impenetrable for the AI now.

Desperately try to NOT DIE.

[Survival Roll:5+1=6] You fight on stubbornly, staying alive with sheer willpower.

Heft Tor away from this madness.

[1] You attempt to head over to pick up Tor. Then happens something that absolutely no-one saw coming - you trip on a motherfucking piece of metal, this time Tor's Nanogun. [BP:3][Damage:5] You fall on your already-wounded first right arm and hear a nasty crack of bone when you hit the floor. It hurts like hell, and you join Tor in his pool of blood, though still conscious.

First Right Arm: Heavily Wounded

NPC's

Quote from: Zanael
Error. Corrupted Files. Multiply. Retry.
[4+1=5]vs[Nirur:4+3+3=10] This time, the AI simply hits the all-powerful firewall and backs away. [5] However, soon something strange begins to happen. It seems the AI is generating mutiple copies of itself.

Quote from: Zanael Clones
Breach. Overwhelm. Immobilize.

[5+4=9]vs[Nirur:5+3+3=11] The four copies attack, but even together they can't seem to breach Nirur's defense.

Quote from: Ludd
Let's finish them off!
[6+1=6] Ludd goes for [1] the dying Tor, [5][Damage:3] for some reason bashing his left arm instead of his wounds. It isn't enough to outright kill him.

Tor: Left Arm: Slightly Wounded

Quote from: Other Cultist
With pleasure.
[6] The other cultist [2] goes for Fuzz instead, [Dodge:6] but he springs up from the floor and jumps back, far from dead.

Quote from: Cultist Reinforcements
Ya hear somethin'?
[3] Unsure what to do, the dozen cultists sent to the room with the machine turn back towards the central chamber.

---

Y'know, Fuzzy, you almost went to near death state as well, but I decided against it. Tor also almost died from Ludd's attack, and he will from another hit like that.

EDIT: Also, goddamnit those 1's on the background rolls are annoying. I can't tell you what's happening!
