Wah? I don't think you've understood the point of this RTD, dermonster. The more people you kill with SCIENCE, the better.

And anyhow, the dice decide what happens to the train, not you.

Oh, I'm not worried about them, I'm worried about ME. "them" Can go to hell as far as I'm concerned.

And by 'Concerned' I mean 'have diabolically planned'

Ehh, you'll be fine. Unless someone screws with the accelerator system, there's only a few ways the train can transform into a weapon of mass destruction.

Everybody hear that? The kinetic accelerator system on the bottom of the train! Messing with that could be dangerous to dermonster! Just so you guys know.

yes, because riding at the front of an out of control train with no conductor going whatever MPH is absolutely perfect for your health.

Besides, five thousand tons of screaming death out of nowhere is too impersonal. I want them to KNOW it was me what killed them.

at least until I can throw Non-radioactive nukes around with wild glee.

Huh? ...

Yeah, sure. Just leave me out of such craziness until after I have my suit of powered armor with integrated repair-nanobot forge, deflector shields, quantum reactor, and ice cream dispenser.

I patch up my head wound. If anybody finds me and wants to use the first aid kit after I'm done, I let them take it.

[3] You crack open the first aid pack and begin patching up your head. [5+1=6] In a few moments, you've completely fixed up your wounds. You thank the city scientists once again for their wonder drugs. With the help of the stimulants included in the pack, you feel even better than before! Their effect will wear out rather quickly, but you feel like you could take on anything right now.

Head: Fine
First Aid Kit removed from Inventory!

Experience a realization and deconstruct the metal that's resting on me. Even weak people can deconstruct anything, right? Offer the parts scavenged as a gift to one of the men, then wrap my shirt around my head to reduce bleeding. Stagger off away from the gunfire.

[6] You've had it with this wall! Screaming a terrifying warcry, you push the wall off you and high into the air. You're on your feet before the two men can even react, and slam the flying wall down through the floor with a single furious kick. You rip your shirt off for good measure. [4] You stand there for a minute, sweat dripping off your muscles while the two men stare in amazement. Then you smile and offer a piece of the scrapped wall to one of them. He stares at it for a moment, confused, until he realizes you're a scientist. He politely turns you down and then hurries outside with his buddy. [6-1=5] Even though you're using your dirty, sweat-stained shirt, you manage to patch up your wounds almost completely. [2] After all this, you forget you were supposed to leave the train.

Head: Slightly Wounded
A Lot of Scrap Metal added to Inventory!

Start unscrewing stuff like mad.

[2] You bash the machinery in the room for a while, but they prove tougher than they look.

Go salvagem some of the ticketing computers.

[4] You find stairs and follow them upstairs. They end at a pair of heavy-looking metal safety doors, though. [6] Not that a simple pair of doors can stop you. You hack them to pieces with your tools, and collect the scraps. A line of ticketing computers sits up ahead, and you go bash them open. [4] The sounds of battle are much more audible here, and you hear voices from up ahead.

Scrap Metal increased to A Lot of Scrap Metal in Inventory!
Some Mechanical Parts increased to Mechanical Parts in Inventory!
Some Computer Parts added to Inventory!

Let's move away from the explosions, shall we? Yes, we shall!
...Or at least try.

Also, contemplate plans for RADICAL HOVER BOOTS.

[5] You wander off deeper into the tunnels, making good progress along the rail network. Soon the train is nowhere to be seen. What few lights there are in the tunnel are dim red emergency ones. [2] You fail to make any plans for hover boots. [3] You hear footsteps from up ahead.

Build that gun, go try to make a deal with FlowerInsect Petalbug about getting that  wall off of his chest.

[2+3=5] You begin constructing a gun from the materials you have gathered.  You work quickly with the help of the blueprints. [Power:4] The thing is quite effective, launching solid, sharpened chunks of scrap metal at high speeds. [Size:2] It is also compact, and easy to hide if need be. [Functionality:3] It works as well as any mass-produced weapon out on the market. [Fuel:2] The gun requires you to cut scrap metal to a specific size, and quite a lot of it to be inserted. [Rate-Of-Fire: Semi-Auto] It's a perfect mix between accuracy and firepower. [4] You convert all your remaining metal into ammo for the gun.

You return to the train but Petalbug is already free.

Background Roll: [6] Taric spots several City troopers hurrying inside the aboveground section of the station. Below, shadowy figures are converging on the train, about half a dozen nearing Doc Fuzz. Most people have left the train and are on the station platform now.

I check my materials converter for exactly what it can do, and see if it can make any computer parts. I'll hide amongst the crowd if possible.

Quickly tear apart the tracks and lights, recombining them into a vibroblade.
If I can't tear up the tracks that quickly, use the scrap from my inventory.

Quickly mash together a pair of nun-chucks from my scrap metal and then hide in the shadows.

Hide the Accelerator Carbine in my back pocket, and turn off the the THUNDA FIST, gather any scrap on the way up to the platform, and come up crying to the troopers.
